Revolutionizing Patient Data Monetization: The MyRxWallet Approach In today’s digital age, healthcare systems are sitting on mountains of patient data, often collected through EHRs and other digital platforms. This data holds immense value for innovations like precision medicine, drug discovery, and even AI models, yet, as a society, we continue to grapple with one essential question: Who should benefit from this data? At MyRxWallet, we believe the answer is clear—patients should. After all, it’s their data. Currently, many healthcare systems and startups debate the ethics of commercializing patient data without direct consent. While some institutions take a cautious approach, others rush into the market without considering the patient’s rights. But why not empower patients to have control and directly benefit from their own data? Through MyRxWallet’s blockchain-powered platform, we are creating a future where patients have full ownership of their health data, and they can monetize it when they choose. Using decentralized and tamper-proof technologies, patients can securely share anonymized health data for research, clinical trials, or drug development—all while being compensated for it. This not only empowers patients but also opens new doors for healthcare innovation. Our vision isn’t just about protecting data—it’s about creating a new healthcare ecosystem where patients are stakeholders in their health journey and benefit financially from the value their data generates. At MyRxWallet, we aren’t just building technology; we’re building patient empowerment. Let’s change the conversation. Let’s give patients control over what’s rightfully theirs. #Blockchain #HealthcareInnovation #DataMonetization #PatientData #DataOwnership #AI #MyRxWallet #Web3 #HealthcareTransformation

One of the common questions I've heard over the years about Global Medical Brigades is when we will begin our work in a new country. It doesn't happen often. Where and when to expand are comprehensive decisions that take into consideration a multitude of factors. We ask ourselves and prospective community partners questions like: - Is our collaboration scalable beyond medical relief? Will it be possible to tap into and sustain local leadership to promote access to healthcare, public health and water infrastructure, and economic development? - What are the current and potential socioeconomic strengths and challenges at local, national, and regional levels? - What needs are prioritized and requested by prospective partner communities? What resources do we have to offer? Do these align? With our impactful history of sustainable development in Central America, strong local leadership, and high stakeholder interest, communities Belize became an undeniable fit for our program. It's exciting to hear feedback live from volunteers Aaliyah and Maggie from Montclair State University!
