Grand Junction, CO, October 3, 2024 – CCA Rx, a pharmacy benefits management program on the Western Slope of Colorado, is excited to announce a renewed pledge to provide a cohesive platform to serve self-funded employers, one that is committed to shared accountability for healthier employees, increased access, and lower healthcare costs. The program was originally launched as the CCA PBM in January 2023 by a network of rural hospitals and healthcare organizations called the Western Healthcare Alliance (WHA). Western Healthcare Alliance’s Community Care Alliance is excited to announce it has received a one-year, $100k grant from the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration Rural Health Network Development Planning Program. These funds will be used to support the creation of The Partnering with Communities for a Lifetime of Health network through strategic partnerships and collaboration with community-based organizations, public health agencies, and community members. Western Healthcare Alliance’s Community Care Alliance Pharmacy Benefit Manager Drives Rx Savings with Cutting Edge Services Grand Junction, CO, January 9, 2024 – Western Healthcare Alliance’s (WHA) Community Care Alliance (CCA) is excited to announce greater than forecasted drug savings for 2023 and leading-edge program enhancements in 2024 for the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) program. This milestone began 18 months ago when WHA hospital members came together to take control of prescription drug costs and gain transparency into their true Rx spend. They recognized the need for shared accountability for healthier employees, increased access, and lower patient healthcare costs. The CCA PBM launched with three members on January 1, 2023.
