🔍 **Set-Piece Masterclass: A Tale of Two Identical Goals** ⚽️ set-pieces remain a critical element in breaking down defenses and seizing crucial goals. Recently, we witnessed two brilliant examples of this during matches involving Manchester City vs. Liverpool and Norwich City vs. Leicester City. Both goals were eerily similar. 📌 **The Strategy:** Both teams employed a clever maneuver that left their opponents scrambling. Here’s how it unfolded: 1. **Players Positioned Outside the 6-Yard Box:** All attacking players initially stood outside the 6-yard box, creating an illusion of space and disorganization. 2. **Decoy Movement:** As the ball was delivered, one player made a near-post run, engaging and pushing an opponent. This movement was crucial as it was designed to disrupt the defensive setup and create a gap. 3. **Exploiting the Gap:** With the near-post player drawing defender away, another player timed their run perfectly to exploit the newly created space within the 6-yard box, leading to a well-placed and decisive finish. #FootballTactics #SetPieceStrategy #ManchesterCity #NorwichCity #Liverpool #LeicesterCity #CoachingTips #SoccerAnalysis #GameChanger

Please read my article discussing the crisis at Manchester United.
From Mentality to Mid-table Monsters There were times at Manchester United when supporting the club was a bed of roses. These days it is agony and despair every other week. The mentality of players which existed during the time of Sir Alex Ferguson has taken a nosedive since his departure. Not only the players, but the entire club lacks direction. The famous Fergie time came into existence only because the great man was able to build a mentality of never give up. #MUFC #ManchesterUnited #PremierLeague https://lnkd.in/eU3X8FyZ

Chelsea is the only Premier League club to have spent over 1 billion euros since Todd Boehly took charge 💸. Despite this significant investment and two full seasons having passed, Chelsea still hasn't managed to secure a top spot finish 🏆. Samu Omorodion’s rumored transfer to Chelsea for 35 million pounds could push their already high spending even higher. Will this additional investment finally lead to results in the 2024/2025 season? 🤔 Here are some additional insights on the top Premier League spenders since the 2022/2023 season 📊: - Manchester United is the closest spender to Chelsea, having invested 535.82 million euros—still about 700 million euros less than Chelsea's total 💰. - Out of the big six clubs, five are among the top six spenders 💼, with the exception of Liverpool, which ranks 10th in spending with only 309.80 million euros. This amount is lower than several non-big six teams, including Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, and West Ham 📉. Overall, this data highlights that big spending does not always guarantee big results 🚫📈. #Chelsea #PremierLeague #FootballAnalytics #DataViz #DataVisualization
