📢 Visit our poster at the 36th EORTC-NCI-AACR symposium in Barcelona from October 23 to 25, 2024! Barbara Nicke, Head of Therapeutic Compound Research, will host a poster presentation on the topic: Identification and target deconvolution of novel small molecule inhibitors of oncogenic YAP1/TAZ activity. The poster highlights a large-scale cell-based phenotypic screen of 3.8 million compounds. Promising HTS hits with YAP1/TAZ-inhibitory activity were selected for further profiling and target deconvolution studies. Complementary proteomic, biophysical and biochemical methods, as well as CRISPR/Cas9 knockout screens, revealed the direct target of these inhibitors.
