The GIGA Flow Cytometry and Cell Imaging Platform is thrilled to announce the acquisition of two cutting-edge spatial transcriptomics instruments from 10X Genomics: the Visium CytAssist and the Xenium. This major investment was made possible thanks to FEDER En Mieux (https://www.enmieux.be/) funding (2021-2027 programming, WALIMAGIN portfolio). These advanced tools open up new possibilities for spatially resolved gene expression analysis, empowering researchers to explore cellular microenvironments with unprecedented precision. Our team is here to support all researchers interested in using these instruments or with questions about spatial transcriptomics. This week, for the first time in our country, the #Chromium iX device was launched, with the help of experts from 10x Genomics (Rebecca Mitchell) and #Labena (Marina Panek). This powerful device, located at #IBISS, was acquired with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia. We hope that researchers from the Department of Molecular Biology will gain deeper insights into the complexity of molecular mechanisms at the single-cell level using this approach. We eagerly await the results and the arrival of new users! Ove nedelje prvi put u našoj zemlji pušten je u rad uređaj Chromium iX uz prisustvo eksperata iz kompanija 10x Genomics (Rebecca Mitchell) i #Labena (Marina Panek). Ovaj moćan uređaj koji se nalazi na #IBISS-u nabavljen je uz podršku Ministarstva nauke, tehnološkog razvoja i inovacija Republike Srbije (#NITRA). Nadamo se da će istraživači Odeljenja za molekularnu biologiju korišćenjem ovog pristupa steći dublji uvid u složenost molekularnih mehanizama na nivou pojedinačnih ćelija.
