🎉 Excited to share that our study on breast cancer screening with ABUS has been published! 🎉 Our research highlights the often understated value of ultrasound in breast cancer screening. We demonstrated that automated breast ultrasound (ABUS) can be safely used as a standalone screening method, offering a viable alternative in scenarios where mammography isn’t available, albeit with a trade-off of increased false positives. ABUS also proves to be an excellent supplemental screening tool. In this new retrospective study published in July, two #AI-powered mammography solutions were evaluated head-to-head, to compare results of breast cancer detection. #ProFoundAI performed significantly better than the other solution for breast cancer detection, particularly in patients with non-dense breasts (AUC, 0.93; P < .001). In an interview at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2024 ( #SABCS24 ), Dr Roberto Salgado of the Institut Jules Bordet discussed tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes ( #TILs ) across triple-negative, HER2-positive, and HR-positive #breastcancer subtypes.
