It is easier than ever to make a pivot: - Employers are abandoning college degrees - They're designing programs for late-in-life pivoters - Moving departments & companies is normal The truth is: You probably already have the skills to pivot. And if you don't... they can be learned. Here are 11 signs you're ready for a career pivot: 1/ Your career goals feel forced or empty. ↳ You're "shoulding" all over the place. 2/ You’re bored or apathetic in your field. ↳ Might be time to say bye, bye, bye to it. 3/ You daydream about other industries. ↳ Follow that passion & curiosity. 4/ Skills you love aren't part of your work. ↳ Find a role that will put them front & center. 5/ The career doesn't align with your values. ↳ You need to feel good about the work you're doing. 6/ Your interests pull you in a new direction. ↳ It's okay to not want what you did 5 years ago. 7/ You’re jealous of your friends’ jobs. ↳ Make sure it's the work not the culture. 8/ You’re burned out & know it will happen again. ↳ Especially in industries like healthcare 9/ You’re only there for the money. ↳ You have to have other things fueling you. 10/ You’re consuming media about another industry. ↳ You're already in deep like if this is you. 11/ You're not physically able to stay. ↳ You're injured or you have health changes. People worry about their job security, their ability to find a new job, and the potential for failure. * Support System: Having a strong support system is crucial for a successful career pivot. This could include family, friends, mentors, or career coaches. * Self-Reflection: It's important to take time for self-reflection to understand your values, interests, and skills. What are you passionate about? What are you good at? What kind of work environment would you thrive in? * Skill Development: Even if you don't have all the skills you need for your dream job, you can develop them through online courses, workshops, and networking. * Small Steps: Don't feel like you have to make a complete 180-degree turn. Start with small steps, such as volunteering in your field of interest, taking on new projects at work, or networking with people in your desired industry. Ready to leap into a new career despite your fears? I remember the day I dropped out of university, quit my 9-5 job at the hotel and started my own business. Many people around me judged & tried to keep me "safe" by telling me not to do it. But I did it anyways. I started to hustle from my bedroom while attending university. I typed in the internet: "How to make money online." 
This was my first step into digital marketing. Fast forward to today, I've built my own coaching business while traveling the world. I paid off my 6-fig debts, helped several coaches to create a 6-7 fig business while having the time of their lives🔥 I celebrate daily client transformations, cash coming in while I sleep & I feel daily fulfilled in purpose. Here are 9 tips, if you feel conflicted about switching your career 👇🏻: 1️⃣ Make a clear-cut decision by writing down why you want to change your job or quit something (be specific) & what's holding you back (great for reflection). 2️⃣ Announce your decision & take the first stel within the next 48 hours towards your career change. 3️⃣ Embrace your fears. 4️⃣ Lead with courage over confidence. 5️⃣ Let go of what no longer serves you (habits, job, people). 6️⃣ Plug your new career into a deep purpose and vision. 7️⃣ Build faster credibility by investing in your new skillsets required for the career & practically experience it. 8️⃣ Have a plan & set goals. But remain HOW things will unfold for you. Enjoy the ride. 9️⃣ Define what happiness means to you. Everything has its pros, cons, price and reward. Leaving a stable 9-5 job can feel scary.
