🏡 Reminder to anyone who owns a property in the City of Toronto - today (March 15th) is the deadline to declare your property's occupancy status! 🏡 No matter what your occupancy status is, all owners of Toronto properties are required to submit the declaration. If no declaration is made, the city will assume the property is vacant and therefore is subject to the Vacant Home Tax (trust us, you don't want this) 💰 While late declarations can me made, they're subject to a late fee and ongoing interest charges. The easiest solution is to just submit your declaration before the deadline - all you'll need is your Assessment Roll Number and your Customer Number (both of which can be found on your tax bill). With those, you can submit your declaration via the below link: https://lnkd.in/eWNkM25E #torontorealestate #realestatelawyer #ontariorealestate #vacanthometax #doormat
