Luke Jekyll: "One thing I've found this year which is quite weird, that's happened all over Linkedin is the prioritisation and push on short form video on the app. I think that is something that no one really expected to come and something that brands should definitely be making the most of..." Me: Let's test that theory... 😂 Thanks again to the rest of our panel who joined us last Thursday... Barnaby St Anton Callum Joynes Natalia Chronowiat Jem Leslie Nathan Youd We were discussing 'Cracking the algorithm to achieve social media success'. Is it true website traffic affect in holiday period(Hallowen, Thanksgiving,Christmas and New Year)? Yes, it does. If your website deals in US or European markets then chances are that your traffic will go down considerably. As during this period or any other festivals people don't use google and other social media for any research so traffic is low during this period. If you are dealing with product based websites so it will give you more traffic as compared to service based websites. #seasonaldownfallintraffic #festiveseason #seoupdate #trendingtopic

A pleasant Sunday morning to you! At our Saga complex in Greenfield, (5 unique radio stations under 1 roof in beautiful Western MA) we're gearing up for holiday music and marketing plans for our advertisers. One unique plan we talk to our sponsors about, are holiday greetings. Now, they're not commercials per se, but they can really hit home. As the holiday season approaches, radio becomes a prime medium to reach audiences with heartfelt greetings. A simple holiday message aired over the radio brings warmth and goodwill to listeners, evoking the spirit of the season. For businesses, it’s a unique opportunity to connect with the community on a personal level. Unlike traditional ads, holiday greetings aren't about promoting products; they're about building relationships, showing appreciation, and fostering a sense of belonging. Radio ad greetings also reach people during their commute, shopping trips, or holiday travel, creating memorable moments where a brand’s name is associated with positivity and cheer. These messages stand out amidst the usual rush of holiday promotions, helping brands connect in an authentic, less commercial way. If I can help, jdeane@whai.com.

𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗭 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸: Little Treat and/or Sweet Little Treat 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: A gift to oneself, often a confection, upon completion of one’s daily tasks. 𝗨𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: “I finally reached inbox zero! Time for a sweet little treat!” 𝗘𝘁𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗹—Kidding, but this saccharine little phrase is actually a great example of how Gen Z shops. They aren’t the “make coffee at home, every day” crowd. This is something our partners at Chip City understand. They want to try new brands, go on a little walk, and have new experiences with their friends. So, if you're an F&B brand, how do you reach them? Through the same ads, everyone is using or through 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲? Credit to InTheKnow on TikTok for the video! Keep up the good work! -- P.S. 👋 I’m Luke, Head of Marketing & Partnerships at Claim. Follow me for more breakdowns of how Gen Z shops, and how we’re putting brands in front of their future top customers, one friend at a time.

I love spooky things, and October is the celebration of spooky. In true #Halloween spirit, I present the scares of digital marketing! 1. Ghost Traffic Ever get visits to your site, but they vanish without a trace? 2. The Web of Algorithms The algorithms keep changing, trapping you in their twists and turns. 3. Masked Competition Competitors are moving in the shadows, constantly changing their tactics. 4. Draining Budgets: Marketing budget can be a vampire if you don’t keep them in check. 5. Lightning-Fast Trends If you're not fast enough to catch them, they’re gone, leaving your content buried in the crypt of outdated ideas. You cannot just use tricks to survive this, you need a full bag of treats (values)! PS: Who else love Halloween!
