Great brands solve big problems and Andrews Property Group is just one of those brands. Estate agents are one of the least trusted professions in the UK. IPSOS ranks them 4th from bottom on their 'Veracity Index' and this lack of trust has had a severe impact on the market. Transactions are slower and buyers, sellers, landlords and renters take longer to make decisions which in turn delays the whole process. This is bad news for brands, and not helped by some unscrupulous agents resorting to all sorts of tricks to ‘appear’ great value and win customers. But Andrews' heritage puts them in a unique position. Founded in 1946 and charity owned since 1965 under the leadership of the prolific Cecil Jackson Cole, it became a leading example of how a commercial enterprise can fund a worthy cause. This enviable history means the business does things differently. They have contributed over £10 million to charitable causes over the last 70 years and CEO Carl Howard used this point of difference to propel the business forward. Customer service has been a significant focus for the business, and they now proudly score a whopping 4.9 on Trustpilot. It’s been one of the most enjoyable Fractional CMO experiences for Mighty Atoms, not just because of the challenge but the experience of working with the most welcoming, bright, and engaged team. Our primary objective was to help position Andrews as a business you could trust. Trust must be gained and through sheer hard work, Andrews has created the proof to give it permission to talk about it. The brands' charity involvement and property expertise has driven the team to continue their charitable contributions and treat customers with as much passion as charities support their causes. So, from staff members supporting local charities in their own time to building a rapport with their customers, the business had already done the hard yards for us. Working with the SLT, the marketing team and pretty much everyone as well as our very own talented CD Dave Lambert we developed the ‘everyone wins' campaign which we rolled out through all its traditional and digital channels. This helped Andrews engage with its customers and gave the teams something to unite behind. Recently we’ve been invited back in to help the new marketing team evolve it to its next exciting stage.
