How quickly does your Account Manager respond? This morning, 5am I get the text (see below). My response is simple, immediate and consistent. If a client calls or texts and asked if I can deliver a piece of equipment, I answer immediately and my answer is “I’m on it”. Our main job is not delivering equipment, it’s being available and responding quickly, saving you time, money and headaches, thus keeping your project flowing, on time and on budget…and yes, getting you the equipment you need. Ha ha. If you are looking for a business partner you can rely on, that will be immediate in response and consistent, get a hold of me. If you’re not in my area, Butte County, I’ll put you in touch with an Account Manager that is. Rental Guys Inc., it’s a business culture thing! We don’t want to just supplement your claims! We strive to be supplemental to your entire company. With 30 plus years combined industry knowledge, that is always changing. We are confident we can help out any contractor. Whether you are a small business and it’s not in the budget to hire an internal estimator, or you are an established contractor that has an internal estimator. Contractors with no internal estimator-we do not charge per estimate, we only bill on supplemental items. Saving you on a salary & benefits. We want to help you develop a process for growth. You have a company to run, sales to hire/train, appointments, why take on more work and spread yourself thin? Contractors with internal estimators- we can supplement your internal estimator. If you have more than 10 sales reps, it’s likely your estimator gets bogged down. This leads to top producers not getting the turn around they are looking for, which leads to sales retention issues. Instead of them looking for that greener grass, when we can assist to meet your turn around expectations and keep the sales force & your estimator happy. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in discussing. Please email us assignments@prevailclaimsmn.com or send us a message to set up a sit down to discuss how we can help your company. . . . . #minnesota #midwest #stormrestoration #claims #claimshandling #supplement #storm #stormdamage #contractor #skilledtrades #contractorsofinstagram #home #homeimprovement #motivate #newroof #roof #roofer #roofers #growth #roofing #roofingcompany #roofingcontractor #roofingcontractors #rooftop #for #growthmindset #generalcontractor #value #integrity #knowledge

When choosing a contractor, whether for home improvement or a major commercial project, it's essential to ensure you're selecting the best professional for the job. Here are some key factors to consider: Experience and Expertise: Look for contractors with a proven track record in your specific type of project. Check their portfolio and ask for references to verify their experience. Licensing and Insurance: Ensure they have the necessary licenses to operate in your area and carry appropriate insurance to protect against potential damages or accidents. Reputation and Reviews: Read online reviews and testimonials. Word-of-mouth recommendations from friends and family can also provide valuable insights. Detailed Estimates: Get detailed, written estimates from multiple contractors. This helps you understand the scope of work and compare costs effectively. Clear Communication: Choose a contractor who communicates clearly and promptly. Good communication is crucial for managing expectations and addressing any issues that arise. Contract and Terms: Ensure you have a clear, written contract outlining the scope of work, timelines, payment schedules, and other important details. This protects both parties and sets clear expectations. Quality of Materials: Discuss the materials they plan to use and make sure they meet your quality standards. Lower quality materials can save money upfront but might lead to issues later on. Warranty and Follow-up: Ask about warranties on their work and materials. A contractor who stands by their work will be more likely to address any issues that arise after the project is completed. Choosing the right contractor is crucial for the success of your project. Taking the time to do your due diligence can save you time, money, and stress in the long run. #HomeImprovement #Construction #ProjectManagement #QualityWork

The Power of #EstimatorsAndEntertainment Events.. Some incredible things have happened since the event a few weeks back 1️⃣ We secured 3x Interviews for a recently immigrated Estimator with no local experience... 2️⃣ Reconnected with old clients that were attending their 4th or 5th event... we call these guys Friends of GEDON™ | Executive Recruitment 3️⃣ Secured some new active estimating and cost assignments 4️⃣ The Bar tab didn't exceed $5,000 But my personal favourite takeaway.. The guy below who carried out the sneaky nip rip has just accepted a Senior Estimator role in Brisbane 😅 It was their first event and not sure it could have went any better ⁉ We try and be conventional but sometimes it doesn't always happen Result if you ask me. #ProofIsInTheProgress #Estimators #CostManagement

You've heard about burning the midnight oil, what about the 5am midnight oil that is now the next day? Sometimes, working through the night seems completely bonkers for many people. Off the scale of reality for any long-term scenario. When things have to get done, they have to get done and that's the mindset I look for when identifying senior personnel. I'm not interested in the clock watchers. I also don't think that working through the night is particularly healthy and wouldn't recommend it. It's the mindset I'm after. The people who are prepared to go the extra 100,000 miles. Grafters not Grifters. Now I need a smart Commercial Director in Yorkshire. I need an early career Assistant Engineer who likes the nicer things in life, East Midlands based. An Ambitious Sales/CRM star is required for selling properties to investors in the Birmingham patch. A Senior QS is required in the Southern patch, someone who wants to make a big difference. A Project Surveyor is required in the Southern patch to help with growing pains. Another Project Surveyor is required in the Southern patch, able to grow with the business and the department as they embark on some juicy projects. BetterCallSimon.co.uk

Aint Nobody Got Time For That! When I was a superintendent managing twenty plus trades on my project, if an equipment rental person were to approach me and launch into some sales pitch, I would have just shut off, I would have turned and walked away, or just said "no thanks". But, that's not what happened. Chris, from Rental Guys Inc. walks up and just starts asking about my project and strikes up a conversation. He lets me know "if you need anything, just let me know". He didn't say "we have the lowest prices", or ask "who else are you using"?, nope, he just let me know, if I needed him, to give him a call. His approach was refreshing, easy and it put me at ease. I ended up using Chris and Rental Guys for some rental stuff, and some Hilti Group anchors that I needed last minute. That last minute Hilti purchase was key, as it enabled me to keep an inspection appointment, and thus keep all my trades on schedule. When I called him, he came through. He was an "easy button" for me and I totally appreciated it. Now that I am an Account Manager for Rental Guys, Butte County, I always remember that and remember what it's like running a project/jobsite, or even the bidding process and gathering quotes. I am now the "easy button" for all of my contractors, and will never jump onto a jobsite "selling". I'll come by, call you, check on you, see if you need anything, maybe bring you out a coffee, or a cigar...and maybe both! So cheers to you folks out there managing all the trades, making stuff happen and managing the chaos and storm that is a construction project. I got you!
