An Engaging Life... Engaging in good deeds and demonstrating righteousness are complimentary to each other, but distinct. The first is an act of kindness that helps people and makes them feel good.... such deeds appeal to us as humans (Titus 3:8,14). The second is an act of rightness that points to a standard upheld through a person's conduct (Philippians 2:14-15). This can draw attention with both good or bad reactions from people. God asks His people to be shining lights of His kindness through engaging in good deeds (Matthew 5:16) and be shining lights of His righteous character through their godlike behavior. "Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled." (1Peter 3:13-15)

In today's fast-paced world, maintaining a sense of serenity and security at work can often feel challenging. As we navigate our professional landscapes, it's crucial to anchor ourselves in something deeper and more enduring. This week's affirmation, "I am grounded in my faith and secure in my workplace," serves as a powerful reminder that our spiritual beliefs can provide a solid foundation, no matter the turbulence we may encounter. 🌿 Psalms 16:8 says, "I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken." This verse reminds us that by keeping our faith at the forefront of our daily lives, including in our professional endeavors, we are granted stability and strength. ⚖ By holding firmly to our faith, we find not just stability but also the strength to transform our work environment into a place where we can thrive and feel truly secure. Let this affirmation and scripture be daily touchstones, reminding you of the peace and protection that your faith provides as you contribute your talents and energy to the world.

4 Lessons I'm taking with me to Q2: 1. Stick to one goal for the longest of time - It's not about having so much to do it's about being focus on fewer things. 2. Choose your battles wisely - Meticulously pick what you're giving your time and energy to baby girl!! 3. Surround yourself with like-minded people - I really cannot stress this enough people!!! (If you're in for the long run you have to have the right people by your side) 4. Commit your plans to God in Prayers! - I'm going to be doing more of this in this quarter cause many are the plans of man but it's the Lord purpose that'll prevail! P.S: I learnt a lot about myself in Q1, still hitting the ground hard with one goal this quarter!...How about you? what's one major thing you're trying to achieve in the next 69 days?
