Responsibilities:
1. Ensure smooth operation of the Process Section to meet production targets without compromising on product quality, cost and safety aspects. This includes maximizes the line capacity and utilization.
2. Play an active role in planning operation including staffing allocation, overtime arrangement, maintenance coordination and ad-hoc tasks.
3. Actively lead and involve in Shift Review Meetings. Shift handovers are required to be conducted between teams including executives, technician, senior technician, general worker and casual (if applicable).
4. Ensure routine maintenance and equipment cleaning are conducted on the process areas as per established.
5. Ensure the HACCP Principles & GMP are applied as appropriate to the food manufacturing operation and control function.
6. Review process operation performance on hourly basis and analyze on major stoppages/recurring downtimes for its corrective as well as preventive actions.
7. Monitors readiness at process line including filler, pasteurizers, tanks, etc.
8. Ensure disciplines are well adhered in the operation by all subordinates. This includes having discussion with team with unacceptable performance.
9. Report any critical issues to Production Manager on a timely manner. It includes major breakdowns, safety incidences, product integrity and extraordinary yield losses.
10. Ensure all parameters and recipes are checked prior and during operation.
11. Escalate machine breakdowns in a timely manner. Ensure sufficient support from Leader, Maintenance personnel in troubleshooting.
12. Lead or support improvement. Implement measure and programs to improve production methods/flow, machineries/ equipment performance, quality of process and product, etc.
13. To perform hourly routine check on the floor including validation all form and control document ie start-up check list, shut down check list, changeover process, validate recipe check list.
14. Ensure process according to quality standard including basic quality check during start up example validating the CIP, batching, etc.
Requirement
• Education: Degree in Technical field (Engineering/ Chemical/ Science)
• Experience: Min 1 years' relevant experience in beverage manufacturing environment or any other related field
• Capability:
1) Ability to interact with all personnel including from other department
2) Ability to make decision especially on critical moment
3) Experience in directing and supervising production personnel
4) Knowledge of utilities machine troubleshooting and beverages manufacturing processes in various packaging types (Knowledge of beverage manufacturing processes in various packaging types (coldfill, hotfill, aseptic, blow molding) including knowledge of food safety regulatory requirements (HACCP) and management quality system.
