𝗢𝗞𝗥𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹-𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. They are a transformative alignment tool that clarifies what success looks like for an organization. At its core, OKRs answer two fundamental questions that every organization has: "Where do we want to go?" and "How do we know when we get there?" This dual focus of these questions encourages strategic thinking and fosters alignment within the organization. ------ 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 are the heart of the OKR framework. They are single statements that clarify where an organization or team wants to go. An Objective serves as a rallying cry that excites people about being part of something important. It represents a future state that aligns with a company's mission and clarifies an organization's highest priorities. ------ 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 are the specific, measurable, timebound outcomes that indicate when an Objective has been met. When all the Key Results are achieved, the Objective is considered achieved. Typically, three to five Key Results are linked to a single Objective, providing clear, quantifiable measures of progress. #OKRs #Leadership #ModernProductivity --------- This post was an excerpt from my eBook called "Crush Your Goals - An Introduction to OKRs". One of the biggest challenges teams face when working with clients is that leaders often focus too much on operating models, playbooks, and frameworks without prioritising team capability and culture. Effective managers know that building a system isn’t enough. It's just one piece of the puzzle. It takes fostering collaboration, drive, customer understanding, experimentation, and research to truly succeed. When you invest in all of the above, it makes a real difference. Hear from Tori Sanderson, our General Manager, on why creating a strong, connected team is the key to product success. #ProductLeadership #TeamCulture #ProductManagement #Brainmates

📘🌟 Book Recommendation: Start Less, Finish More 🚀🔑 Looking to cut through the complexity of strategic planning and drive greater agility within your organization? Look no further than "Start Less, Finish More: Building Strategic Agility with Objectives and Key Results" by Dan Montgomery. 🎯💼 This insightful book draws inspiration from Alexander the Great's legendary conquest of Phrygia in 333 BC. Rather than spending hours unraveling the Gordian Knot, Alexander opted for a swift solution, slicing it in half with his sword. This act embodies the essence of the agile mindset in business. ⚔️💡 In today's dynamic business landscape, uncertainty and complexity reign supreme, making it unproductive, if not impossible, to chart the best course of action years in advance. Traditional strategic planning demands long-term forecasts and rigid roadmaps, often leading to missed opportunities and inefficiencies. 🔄❌ "Start Less, Finish More" introduces a more agile approach to strategic planning….leveraging Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) 🎯✨ What sets this book apart is not only its profound insights into OKRs but also its practical, step-by-step guidance for implementation.Drawing from real-world examples and best practices, Montgomery provides readers with the tools and techniques needed to start less, finish more, and achieve strategic success. 🛠️📈 And here's the best part: "Start Less, Finish More" is authored by Dan Montgomery, a prominent member of our esteemed OKRmentors Community. With his expertise and passion for driving organizational excellence, Montgomery delivers a compelling narrative that will inspire and empower leaders at every level. 🏆📚 Ready to unleash the full potential of OKRs and transform your organization's strategic agility? Dive into "Start Less, Finish More" today and embark on a journey towards greater focus, alignment, and success. Everyone has a role to play in real project leadership. In 2017, based on hundreds of hours of interviews and research, and unpacking all of my own project case studies, I developed The Project Ecosystem ® – a planning and delivery framework for business transformation journeys. All thirteen inter-related components work together to support the right project, with the right team, at the right time. At the core is real project leadership – the collective behaviours and actions of a project team to achieve real impact. Here are some project team scenarios to explain Real Project Leadership = Real Impact When you are facilitating a workshop, you are leading the room. When you are having a conversation, you are leading the headlines. When you are testing a system, you are leading the results. When you are considering feedback, you are leading the improvement. When you are transparent, you are leading the trust. When you are actively listening, you are leading the empathy. When you are sharing knowledge, you are leading the learning curve. I love hearing from you. What's your thinking on this? ---- My book Real Project Leadership is now available to purchase as a paperback or ebook. Go to the link in the comments to follow 3 easy steps to receive your bonus offer. Thank you for your support and let's get real! #realprojectleadership #realimpact #projectteams

Are Your Business Processes Clear and Aligned? 🤔✨ One of the biggest challenges for teams is maintaining clarity on who is responsible for what at each stage of a process. This is where Swimlane Flowcharts come in! 🏊♂️💼 What are Swimlane Flowcharts? Swimlanes visually separate the roles and responsibilities of different departments, teams, or individuals within a process. Each “lane” represents a specific function, making it easy to see how work flows across the organisation. Key Benefits of Using Swimlane Flowcharts: ✅ Improved Clarity: Swimlanes visually map out the entire process, ensuring everyone understands their role and responsibilities at each stage. ✅ Streamlined Communication: With clearly defined lanes, teams know exactly who to coordinate with, reducing misunderstandings and miscommunication. ✅ Better Accountability: Swimlanes highlight each step of the process and who is responsible, making it easier to spot bottlenecks and address performance issues. ✅ Process Optimisation: Identifying redundancies and inefficiencies is much easier when you can see the full picture at a glance, helping you optimise workflows. ✅ Enhanced Collaboration: With roles and interactions mapped out, cross-functional collaboration becomes smoother and more efficient. Ready to bring more clarity and efficiency to your business processes? 💡 At Lean Learning Collective, our experienced coaches can help you design and implement effective swimlane flowcharts tailored to your business needs. 🎯 👉 Contact start@leanlearningcollective.com to book a discovery call. #ProcessImprovement #BusinessStrategy #Leadership #LeanLearningCollective #WorkflowManagement #TeamEfficiency
