🎉 Celebrating a Milestone! 🎉 We are thrilled to celebrate Peter Hanzel‘s 20th anniversary with in our company! Over the past two decades, his dedication, expertise, and commitment have been crutial in our success. Thank you, Peter, for your remarkable contributions and unwavering loyalty. We are sure we have a lot of achievements and growth still together in front of us! Curious to know why Peter stayed with us for 20 years? Here is his answer😊 I can summarize it in 3 reasons - ordered by priority - 1. the team, 2. non-monotonous work, 3. option to choose my own path. The team makes you feel at work like on a friend event. Of course there are ups and downs, but even in downs team was there to help to get out of the ... it. [😉] The work was always interesting, sometimes more challenging, sometimes more annoying and of course sometimes a little monotonous as at any other work. What also helped a lot that most of my team leads have aIways acted as one of us. I started as a developer, changed to a consultant, then become a consulting manager to end up on a position of a product manager mainly of SNP DTS and CB Shell Creator. ...a campfire/beer stories could be told [🙂] #Anniversary #Milestone #Teamwork

Customer service book lists are awesome. One bit of advice: you don't have to read them all. 1. Focus on one specific customer service challenge. 2. Pick the book that can best help you solve it. 3. Apply what you learn from the book as you go. For example, The Effortless Experience is fantastic if your goal is reducing customer friction. Never Lose a Customer Again is perfect if you want to retain customers through effective onboarding. Hug Your Haters is excellent for turning negative feedback into opportunities for growth. Who should read my book, The Service Culture Handbook? It's for leaders who want to get their organization (or team) obsessed with customer service. The book is a step-by-step guide for building a service culture. Thanks for putting this together, Max!

I recently had the great privilege of speaking at not one, but two panels at the inaugural Human Potential Summit, joining employers, innovators, educators and policymakers in a series of conversations that included powerful messages from Jobs for the Future (JFF) CEO Maria Flynn and Opportunity@Work CEO Byron Auguste. Together with Ramona Schindelheim of WorkingNation and Ares Management Corporation's Michelle Armstrong we had a lively discussion about the clean energy economy and climate-resilient workforce pathways. Creating a better future for all Americans requires collaboration across public and private sectors, employers and non-profits. At Trane Technologies, we're a global leader in climate innovation, and we've never been shy about boldly challenging what's possible - for our planet and our people. ⭐ We've removed degree requirements from dozens of positions, opening access to the 70 million Americans who are STARs - those Skilled Through Alternative Routes. ⭐ We're pioneering new pathways into quality jobs with the Trane Apprenticeship Program, which now has over 160 apprentices in 29 states. ⭐ We're enabling career growth, not just job growth, through benefits like tuition advancement that include certifications. (And PS - we're hiring. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/dDeyE-YT) 📷 : Stand Together

🌟 A Glimpse Into My Past: The Unforgettable Day🌟 Did you know my very first job was as a janitor in the company where my father worked? There's one day from that time I'll never forget: It is summer 2003. I was tasked with washing the floor in an office corridor where the ceiling construction had just been completed. The challenge? The whitewash used for the ceiling was everywhere on the floor. I ended up cleaning that corridor maybe 8 or 9 times, spending my entire working day on it. It was a day of seemingly endless mopping and scrubbing, but it's etched in my memory for good reason. That experience taught me the importance of perseverance and attention to detail. It was a vivid lesson in the value of hard work and the satisfaction of completing a task, no matter how daunting it might seem at the start. Moreover, it gave me an early appreciation for the impact of every role in a company, understanding that each task, no matter how small it may appear, contributes to the bigger picture. And to make this trip down memory lane even more special, here's a photo of me at 14, the year of my first paycheck, with my sister. It's a snapshot in time that represents the beginning of my journey to where I am today. #CareerJourney #FirstJob #LifeLessons #ProjectManagement #Throwback

Last week it was my 1 year anniversary since changing job roles to Health and Safety. That time has flown by and it's honestly been the best, most rewarding year of my working life so far. However, I have never had as much imposter syndrome and seriously doubted my own ability. I was used to a job I'd done for 12 years and knew inside out so this has been a huge adjustment. The following is advice I'd give to myself this time last year: ● You can do this. You will pass your exams and push yourself completely out of your comfort zone and you will love it. ● You are not mithering your colleagues. Stop apologising for asking questions. It's the best way to learn and you will identify areas for improvement this way. ● You are making a difference. You bring your own skills, knowledge and experience to the role which help you to see things from a different perspective. ● Nobody knows everything. Cut yourself some slack and take your time. Never thought I would be wearing a hard hat, doing risk assessments and audits but I actually love it. Bring on the next year! 😄

Happy 4th of July all! This holiday is especially important to me as it’s the anniversary of my commitment to public service. This year carries a little extra sentiment as it marks 15 years of public service. I am hoping this is the halfway point of my career, if not sooner. Every year, I use this opportunity to reflect on things I’ve learned along the way: 1) Treat others as though you were on the other side of the desk. I often encounter individuals who are facing adverse actions: loss of a loved one, terminally ill, homeless, commission of a crime, and more. If you have good health, a job, roof over your head, and food on your table…consider yourself blessed. 2) Learn a new skill by teaching others. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching college courses as well as training new employees into the agency. The best way to learn a difficult or complex topic is to teach it to someone else. You’ll force yourself to learn and understand the material, so you don’t look like a fool in front of your colleagues. This is also a great opportunity to add value to yourself as an employee. 3) Accept the challenges that come your way. I’m often tasked with some of the most difficult and stressful cases in our office. These cases aren’t given to me because my boss hates me, but rather my boss has enough trust in me to get the job done. If your boss gives you something difficult, thank him/her for the opportunity to show your skills and abilities. If you fail, it becomes a learning/teaching moment (See number 2). Don’t be afraid of the challenge. It has been my honor and pleasure to serve all those who I’ve come in contact with. I look forward to the fireworks that the next 15 years will bring!

If you are: 1️⃣ a GP looking to penetrate the HNW/Wealth Management channel OR 2️⃣ a Multi-Family office /RIA looking to set up a cost-effective and operationally EASY end-to-end alternative investment solution ➡ greg@gridline.co to check out the technology The technology is making this ALL of this possible in ways that NEVER were available before. "Blow it up!" how we should approach an assignment. "WHAT'S UP SHUGA!" a greeting when joining a monthly 1:1. "we have an opportunity to blow the cover off of the industry" when describing the thinking wanted on a project. 👆 three things I've heard from clients in the past 24 hours. Working with the right people really makes all the difference.
