My favorite part of growing up was my mom taking us to Macy’s to shop for sweaters for my Aunts and grandma every year. It was always fun getting the boxes to wrap them in and then i was responsible to go home later and wrap all of the presents 😂. Macy’s always signified big moments in my childhood like back to school shopping, shoe shopping for vacations holiday gifts or just my mom treating herself to a perfume.

Newly into retail as a seasonal Macy’s hire in Springfield VA, I was able to participate in the Thanksgiving Day Parade! It was one of my absolute favorite moments - I never missed, and still don’t miss, watching that parade for as long as I can remember!

Working with Macy’s and helping out with the Thanksgiving Day event. Also, viewing the parade one year from the Bank of America lobby at One Bryant Park. That year the parade came down 42nd Street we had a great view of all the balloons. Every year it’s been a family tradition to watch the parade Thanksgiving morning. We all love it and Macy’s always does a fantastic job. Thank you All - pulling together the ultimate special event. Not an easy task!

My mom and I lived in Hoboken in the 70’s and 80’s and would take the Path train at least 2-3 times a week to visit Macys. Christmas was our favorite season! Your holiday department was incredible and seeing Santa was just best!! Thanks for the great memories 🎅🏻

My Grandma and I would accompany my Mom on buying trips . While my Mom was working, Grandma and I would visit Macy's and Bloomingdale's. Both stores mean Christmas to me. The holidays in New York are always magical.
