Over the past 6 months I participated in two great conferences (IFEBP and SALGBA). During these conferences I sat in on sessions that specifically focused on mental health struggles for first responders. Both were extremely eye-opening and encouraging. The advice/guidance shared during these sessions was simple but very impactful. TALK AND LISTEN to your population. We need to remove the stigma around mental health and let our people know that is okay to ask for help. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #firstresponders
