What's the one question you should ask when interviewing for an HR leadership role? Our VP of People Strategy Stacey Nordwall says you should ask, "When was the last time you consulted with someone on the HR team and what was it about?" The specificity of this question helps you get a sense of what the relationship is like between the CEO or other senior leadership and HR. "It helps you tease out what they think of HR, how you'll be working together, what that relationship might be like," adds Stacey.
