Whom to target via cold emailing? Most people while making the database of targeted company's mail IDs, only look for HRs - which is a way too narrow approach as they are usually flooded with resumes❗️ 💡 Rather target the managers of the field you are targeting [Ex- Finance Manager for Finance, Marketing Team Lead , etc]. This is because it is them who require the interns. Companies who hire interns on a regular basis have fixed teams and managers under whom the interns work and when it's company who doesn't hire interns on a regular basis, HRs usually only look for interns when they are asked by the respective department heads/managers/team leads because they need an extra hand for the work load. So if you start approaching your preferred field managers and reach a team lead who is on the look for an Intern and they happen to LIKE your resume - they would directly forward it to the HR for screening, this way rather than being one of the 100 resumes with the HR, you would be the one- the Manager who you are probably going to be working under would know about! 🚀 #internships

Today I met another job post, I read it 10X but couldn't understand it. It reads great, "We are Hiring" then, The position will keep your mouth open, "Marketing and Business Development Intern". I thought they were two different positions but not. Qualification: Masters Degree. The job title doesn't attract talented candidates to apply though. Mixing marketing and BD. Wearing two hats at once. Does it make sense? If you are not an employer of choice, your job should be attractive. #TalentandImpact
