Kazakhstan Emerges as a Logistics Hub Amid global political instability, alternative logistics and transport corridors are rapidly developing. In this context, Kazakhstan is establishing transport and logistics centers along its borders with China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, and on the shores of the Caspian Sea to boost its export potential. According to the #MinisterofTradeandIntegration of Kazakhstan, Arman Shakkaliyev, these initiatives are expected to enhance the processing and distribution of textile, agricultural, chemical, and industrial goods, increasing export volumes by 30%. Key Developments: - Central Asia Industrial Cooperation Center: Located at the Atameken (Kazakhstan) – Gulistan (Uzbekistan) border, this center will focus on processing and distributing textile, agricultural, and chemical products. Launch is planned for 2026. - Industrial Trade and Logistics Complex (ITLC): Positioned at the Karasu (Kazakhstan) – Ak-Tilek (Kyrgyzstan) border, this facility aims to expedite cargo transportation.
