And…. that’s a wrap 2024! The end of the year is always a symbolic time to do two things: 1)     Reflect on the year that was 2)     Recalibrate for the year ahead 1) Reflection: 2024 was all about my two babies: Caleb with a C (pictured below) and Kompas with a K. For me, being a first-time father and first-time founder was all about: 🎢 Managing the many ups and downs of my routine as well as all of the emotions that come with it 💪 Having the strength and ability to treat every mistake as a new learning experience 😧 Learning to be comfortable in the uncomfortable – because in the uncomfortable is where the magic happens (this may or may not include posting some cringe content on LinkedIn 😊) 2) Recalibration: So, after such an exciting 2024, what’s in store for the 2025: 🚀 The much-anticipated launch of the Kompas platform ⛵ Successful and smooth onboarding for our first several customers already committed to the platform 👨👩👦👦 Expansion of our operations team to support the amazing early demand (stay tuned for updates in the new year for some exciting job opportunities!) 🎯 Revised and ambitious targets of achieving the following goals by December 2025: 🏠 20,000 multifamily residential units on the platform 🏢 10,000,000 sq ft of commercial units on the platform 💳 Payment processing volume of $25,000,000/month Time is funny. Some days this past year feels like it flew by in a second. Other days it feels like this year was really 10 years. The important thing about time is that you find the right balance between acknowledging and learning from the past, preparing for the future and being present in the present moment.
