Hailstones can often have irregular shapes due to the process of irregular freezing.🥶 As hailstones are formed, they can encounter varying temperatures and turbulence within the storm cloud, causing them to freeze in non-uniform shapes. This irregular freezing can result in hailstones taking on unique and sometimes bizarre shapes, such as spikes, discs, or even flattened forms. #HailFactFriday #Hail #KnightsSolutions

What is the Rain-out? There are several situations in which a released cloud initially contains some proportion of its mass as liquid droplets, from a pure liquid spray to a finely atomized cloud of flashing liquid. As the cloud is dispersed, volatile liquid droplets will be evaporated into the cloud, but the droplets may be sufficiently large and/or non-volatile to fall (relative to the cloud) to the ground before this evaporation takes place: this is the phenomenon known as rain-out. It should be noted that this is not the same as wash-out, which is the scavenging of particles or droplets by rain falling through a cloud from above. #dispersion #modeling #consequence #PHAST

That type of cloud is called a "thunderstorm collar” These low, horizontal, trumpet-shaped clouds are quite rare. A thunderstorm collar may form near an incoming cold front. If a downward flow of air from an incoming storm causes warm, moist air to rise, it cools below the dew point and forms a cloud.

Storming forward In the midst of a storm, remember that every dark cloud carries the potential for growth. Storms may shake your foundation, but they also cleanse, strengthen, and reveal what truly matters. Don’t fear the rain—embrace it, for it's often the downpour that helps you bloom. Stay strong, for calm always follows chaos. #chinupbootsdown #bigbearmotivationalapparel #mentalhealthawareness

Clouds in the shape of a portal show a circular cloud formation with the sun shining through, creating a ring of light. This is likely a result of a rare weather phenomenon called a "fallstreak hole", also known as a "hole punch cloud". It occurs when the water droplets in the cloud are supercooled, meaning they are below freezing but haven't yet frozen into ice crystals. When something disturbs the cloud, like an airplane passing through, it can cause the supercooled droplets to freeze rapidly, falling out of the cloud and leaving a hole.

With reference to the Marine Cloud Brightening, consider the following statements: 1. The principle involves seeding marine stratocumulus clouds with seawater aerosol to increase cloud droplet concentration and albedo. 2. This phenomenon affects the macro physical properties of clouds. Which of the statements given above is/are correct? (a) 1 only (b) 2 only (c) Both 1 and 2 (d) Neither 1 nor 2

What it do Wednesday message: clean out your storage. You don’t have to keep all of those old thoughts, memories, people, or anything that causes you any harm in your storage container, the cloud, or head. Free up some space for good memories by deleting those old space fillers. #mentalhealthmatters #space #cloud #movingforward #delete #thedopeblacktherapist #whatitdowednesday
