Welcome to the Keyless Explainer Series! 🚀 In this series, we’re diving deep into the world of biometric authentication—exploring its benefits, challenges, and everything in between. Here’s a sneak peek at what we’ll cover: ➡️ Different biometric systems ➡️ Liveness detection and preventing bias ➡️ FIDO performances ➡️ Use cases like enrollment, step-up actions, account recovery, SSO integrations, and shared devices ➡️ Benefits and drawbacks But first, let’s start with the basics: What is biometric authentication? Biometric authentication is a way for a computer system to recognize a person based on their unique characteristics, such as their face or fingerprint. With biometric authentication, the system first requires a sample during enrollment to later compare against a new sample for verification. If both samples match, the system confirms the user’s identity. 🎙️ Hear it straight from our Co-Founder and CTO Paolo Gasti below. #ExplainingKeyless #biometricauthentication #privacypreserving #zkb
