“FROM THE REC YARD TO THE STREETS” IS MAKING AN IMPACT NATIONWIDE I want to extend a special thank you to the wardens, directors, and nonprofit organizations across the country who have reached out to purchase my book, “From the Rec Yard to the Streets.” This book is more than words on paper—it’s a testimony of transformation and proof that change is possible. It tells the raw story of redemption, overcoming obstacles, and finding purpose after incarceration. The fact that leaders within corrections and re-entry programs are bringing this message into their facilities shows a shift happening—a shift toward hope, growth, and breaking cycles. This is why I do what I do. To reach those who need to hear that their story isn’t over yet. If you’re a leader, director, warden, or part of an organization dedicated to transformation and growth, I invite you to be part of this movement. 📚 Get your copy here → https://lnkd.in/gEw89HpG Reach out to me directly to order in bulk or discuss ways we can partner to create real change. Thank you to everyone already supporting this mission. Together, we’re building something powerful. #Leadership #PrisonReform #Redemption #Transformation #BreakingCycles #ReentryPrograms #Inspiration #FromTheRecYardToTheStreets #BigReform #ChangeMakers #Impact

I once had to resign as the founder of a not-for-profit organization I founded. It was hard, but I learned a lot. Here's 3 big takeaways I had from leading an organization to the point it outgrew my leadership capabilities. At Myrrh and Hyssop, we've spent this entire week talking about the difference between a hustler and an entrepreneur. When I ran the not-for-profit, I was just a hustler. Nothing but raw undeveloped talent. No telling what could have happened if I had just humbled myself and invested in my own personal development. If you're a struggling entrepreneurial leader looking for a solid leadership and business coach, consider an intro call with myself to discuss how Myrrh and Hyssop, as a firm, can help you love your business / role more. Starting something can be tough... you have a vision, a burden, and a calling, but that doesn't mean you have it all figured out! When God called me to take IMPACT Players Nationwide, the simple longing was to multiply the work of IMPACT Players in Seattle to men, cities, churches, and businesses across the country. As we have been working this out, one of the questions we have continued to ask is- HOW? ❓ How do we help men to grow as husbands, fathers, and leaders? ❓ How do we help local IMPACT Players chapters in Seattle, Everett, Charleston, and beyond? ❓ How do we help churches? We recently partnered with the Soma Churches network, and we are actively talking with other churches, denominational leaders, and networks about helping them reach men. This graphic represents some concrete ways we are "leading the charge" and "supporting the work" with IMPACT Players: Great Husbands, Fathers, and Leaders If this inspires you- DM me, or visit https://lnkd.in/g2-yDZT2 to learn more. If you would like to support the work, please consider participating in our Fight & Light End of Year Campaign. https://lnkd.in/gcmbPW2q
