After 26 years of setbacks and being defeated, McLaren Group has finally claimed the prestigious F1 Constructors’ Championship! For those unfamiliar with F1, this isn’t just billionaires racing “the fastest toy cars”. This is the pinnacle of engineering, aerodynamics and performance—a stage where the world’s sharpest automotive minds compete for glory. So much so, the sponsorship money for the tops 2 teams outweighs the $270 million prize! After 15 years of Mercedes-Benz AG and Red Bull dominance, McLaren beat Ferrari to win. I still remember watching F1 in the early 2000s. No Netflix! No social media! Just the roar of the V12 engines and pure racing passion. Today it's a different beast altogether. The last lap overtake by Hamilton is definitely a testament of his fighting spirit next year. But the real question is, will Hamilton rewrite history with Ferrari next year? PS - This first corner Max <> Oscar crash really had all Ferrari fans on the edge of their seats for the entire race. #sports #F1 #racing #grandprix

🏎️In the high-stakes, high-pressure world of Formula 1, where every second counts, there’s a story from Ferrari that serves as a timeless lesson for professionals in any industry. Carlos Sainz, a brilliant driver and consummate professional, has continued to give his all for Scuderia Ferrari this season, even after learning he wouldn’t remain with the team next year. That level of professionalism, dedication, and character is rare, especially in such a fiercely competitive environment. But what truly stood out was the heartfelt gesture from his teammate, Charles Leclerc. Despite the rivalry that naturally exists between teammates in F1, Charles showed immense respect by adding “Muchas Gracias Carlos” to his helmet—thanking Carlos for their time together at Ferrari. This moment is a reminder of three key lessons: 1️⃣ Professionalism matters until the very last day. Your effort and attitude leave a lasting impression, no matter the circumstances. 2️⃣ Respect your colleagues, even in competitive environments. Collaboration and camaraderie create winning teams, even in individual-centric fields like F1. 3️⃣ How you say goodbye says more about you than how you say hello. Transitions are inevitable, but leaving on good terms is a mark of true character. 🏆 Congratulations to McLaren Racing for their Constructors' Championship win, and kudos to Scuderia Ferrari for coming so close—thanks to the incredible teamwork and professionalism of Carlos and Charles. 💪Powerful lesson: It’s not just about winning; it’s about how you compete, collaborate, and leave a legacy. #F1 #Professionalgrowth #Professionalism #Competitive #SayGoodBye #Ferrari #McLaren

If there is one thing that ALL OF US can learn from Formula 1 it's that you can never think that just because you're the reining "experts" that the "upstarts" don't have something significant to add to the conversation. In fact it is the refusal of "experts" to listen and pay attention to the upstarts that in F1 we are watching Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Marton getting their rear ends handed to them in race after race after race for the last three years ... by a Honda. But what's even worse ... we're still seeing them unwilling to adjust to the "upstart." Take a look at the slotted front wing of a Red Bull car and compare it to that of every other F1 car. The DRS on the rear wing of redbull's is OBVIOUSLY vastly superior and yet we don't see any other engineering team adjusting to that either. Red Bull has so much been out-thinking, out-engineering, out-designing, and out-racing every other team that for the 2023 season Red Bull had OVER TWICE as many points as second place Ferrari. No other team was even close to them. At what point as the "experts" do you have to look at the "upstart" and realize that they are beating you up one side and down the other so regularly and routinely that it is actually the upstarts that are now the real experts in the space?

The Man From Maranello… Sometimes, in the middle of team meetings, and 1/1 work conversations, a particular Ferrari mechanic comes into play. You could say he is one my many role models. Except I don’t know his name. If you have a few seconds today, pls watch this video, including the first 10 seconds of nothing. Focus on the mechanic replacing the rear left tire before you read any further. And then if you have another few seconds, watch him again; see him with my eyes… It is 2013, a few years after the heydays of Ferrari. After the days of Todt-Brawn-Schumi-Barrichello, when they won everything that was to be won. Including hearts and minds the world over. The Australian GP; start of a new season. And a possible bounce back, after a few difficult years. Despite having practised the tire change 100s of times every race weekend, and possibly another few thousand times back at the factory - watch the man fidget as he readies himself. In a positive, nervous, restless way. No complacency, not even a ‘I have done this before’. In the moment. Nowhere else, nothing else. Repeatedly checking the wheel gun. Cleaning the ‘box’ of any last moment speck of dust or loose rubber. Watch him move towards the oncoming car in anticipation. Doing his job perfectly, then - the rest of it is my interpretation, as he rises slowly - becoming the last one to leave, rearranging equipment, while replaying the moment in his head; could anything have been done a bit better, by him or others on his side of the car..? Ferrari finished the race 2nd and 4th, behind a Renault and a Red Bull respectively. If I know anything about people, he would also have been the one consoling the other mechs for missing out on the top step, making / arranging dinner that night, raising a measured toast for the 2nd and 4th place (good results, compared to recent years, but no one goes to race to come second), and rallying the troops for the next race. If I can be in a team of only two people, I want him to be the other one…and till I find out his name, I call him “That man from Maranello”
