This multi-channel approach works. But you have to include all of the channels in a thoughtful way. Too many professionals still think it's just a brute force job. Relevance and positioning are way more important than they were back in the day.
I love meeting clients where they are to make it easy on them - whether that's via email, phone, or LinkedIn.
