The "so what" test is one of the holy grails of ad guidelines. Focus on teaching people how they can benefit (or showing them). Make it impossible to ask "so what" and not get a good answer from your ad.
Do your ads pass the “So what?” test? 🤔 I got a lot of great questions about the “So what” test in my LIVE webinar this Tuesday. The first moment of an ad is crucial. That’s what I teach, what I tell people, what I hammer into my teams. If an ad fails, I go back to analyze the performance and the ad concept, and I ask myself, “What was the first moment? Did we lose them on the ‘So what?’ test? When did they say ‘so what?’”

The difference between a good ad and a mediocre ad is your HOOK. also your written hook! The first 4 sec is key! Here are the 3 rules to write the perfect hook: For product-aware customers, start with your 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁. If unaware but they have a desire, begin with that 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲. If they're unsure but have a problem, start with their 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺, translate it into a specific need. Apply this. Be prepared for astonishing results.
