Another day and another amendment of the EU Regulation 915 about the chemical contaminants. 😎 This become to be almost on daily basis 🤣 European Commission just published COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) 2024/1038 of 9 April 2024 amending Regulation (EU) 2023/915 as regards maximum levels of T-2 and HT-2 toxins in food. It shall apply from 1 July 2024. Its interesting that in the previous regulation 1881/2006 there was a limit for T-2 and HT-2 toxins. With the revision of the current Regulation 915/2023 was removed. Now change the opinion and set again limits. In this way is made a big mess and producers have to be only at the computer waiting the next amendment and to adopt their monitoring programs to align with the legislation.
