Absolutely loved our panel session yesterday. We went headfirst into a very juicy topic - 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗩𝗣 💥 We chatted about some of the things we have seen have work successfully in our organisations (and with our clients) ✔️ And some of the common pitfalls we see in this space too ❌ It's can be a tricky road to navigate for an organisation, particularly if you've never done any EVP work before, so I really hope we helped give some useful pointers 👈👉 Lorraine Stockle MBA and Mark Crompton gave some pure gold insights into what they have done at Verizon and Airbus using their EVP to attract and retain talent..... ....From creating wristbands from waste material from satellite production to using ERGs and employee listening programmes, it was a packed hour of fabulous examples and ideas 💡 One thing that we all felt really strongly about is activating your EVP..... ....Not developing it and let is gather dust in a shared drive. Tuesday Tip! - The Real Value of ERGs Last weekend, I had the pleasure of moderating a panel on the value of ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) to business. Our panelists shared so many great insights that are still swirling in my head. Here are just a few reasons why ERGs are such a win for organizations: 1. They bring camaraderie and belonging—giving people that true “I’m part of something” feeling. 2. They can transform the culture, creating a more inclusive and engaged workplace. 3. They’re a magnet for top talent, showing candidates that the company truly values inclusion. 4. They strengthen connections with business partners, vendors, and clients who share those same values. A moment that hit me hard was hearing from an attendee who felt attacked and isolated at work because her company didn’t have an ERG that could have been really supportive. Her story really drove home how vital these groups can be—not just for the business side but for employee well-being. What impact have you seen ERGs make in an organization?
