A throwback to a memorable event, Electrolux India hosted an inaugural offsite business meet of 2024, called 'Disha.' This event was designed to provide direction for the team, align strategies, and foster collaboration across various geographies. The meet introduced new product launches, innovative marketing initiatives, and essential sales tools, all aimed at equipping the team to drive success and align with the company’s vision.  Disha was also a celebration of achievements and milestones. I believe to attract top talent it is most important to create a supportive work environment. Indonesia's Deputy Manpower Minister Immanuel Ebenezer visited Sri Rejeki Isman (Sritex)'s headquarters in the Central Java regency of Sukoharjo and assured the textile company's workers that there will be no mass layoffs. Separately, Industry Ministry official Reni Yunita said her ministry is preparing a rescue scheme for Sritex but must first discuss it with the Finance Ministry. Following the bankruptcy ruling by the Semarang Commercial Court, Sritex's administrators are set to hold the first meeting with creditors on 13 November while the deadline to submit claims is 25 November.
