My new favourite animal is a Chameleon. During our change program „Next Level Sales & Services“ it struck me, that each organization needs some „Chameleon skills“ in order to survive: - Be smart and adapt to whatever environment - Be patient, but quick when required - Be on the hunt, never saturated - Get invisible for your enemies - Stay focused and efficient I guess this is what helped this species to stay alive >100 Million years and I can see we all need a bit of that to be prepared for harder competition and more dynamic business cycles going up and down. For example: why should we always sell each new product with our own team? Do we have the competence and ressource to do it? Can‘t we instead try to cooperate with a specialized Sales Partner, to the benefit of our customers? In some regions, this is a big „Chameleon-Question“ for us, which we answer together with our local management teams. This way, we also learned that our program itself has to be adaptive. Each market needs a different answer, only when providing degrees of freedom and patience, there is a chance for real change step by step because only rarely a headquarter blueprint fits to 100% globally. John: I’m a Territory Sales Manager. My job is to stay in touch with our dealerships, making sure they have the latest information, product samples, and all the knowledge they need to serve our customers effectively. 🐄What does a typical day look like for you? John: It’s a mix of phone calls, emails, and travelling. I spend a lot of time on the road, visiting dealerships to keep them updated and make sure they have everything they need. 🐄 What’s the best thing about working with the Legend Rubber team? John: The team is great to work with. They’re understanding, they listen, and they truly appreciate their employees. It’s a supportive environment, and that makes all the difference. 🐄Why are you passionate about what Legend Rubber does? John: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, so the work we do at Legend Rubber really resonates with me. It’s all about animal care and comfort, making sure they’re treated with the utmost care and protected from injury. 🐄What do you enjoy doing outside of work? John: I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s mountain biking, boating, playing sports—pretty much anything that gets me outdoors. 🐄What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? Celebrating One Year With Aspen Sales Team It’s been a year filled with growth, learning, and plenty of ups and downs, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the journey. Over the past 12 months, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many incredible people—some said yes, some said no, and some simply thanked me for reaching out. Each one of these interactions plays a valuable role in my day-to-day work. One memorable experience was a meeting with a potential client who initially came in skeptical. As we dug into his equipment inspection and remarketing needs, and explained how our solutions could help, something clicked. Not only did his skepticism fade, but he also became enthusiastic, sharing insights that helped us both see new possibilities. "Cronofy feels like a partner we're working with, rather than being a customer." Hearing this, only slightly rephrased, from a prospect during a sales call no less makes me think we're doing things right. Our customers' success is our success. By treating customers as partners we listen to them and make our platform better for customers present and future. We'll never know less about the problems we solve and the people we serve than we do today. Only by listening to and working with people can we move forward to become better. If we're doing this during sales, imagine how it works elsewhere within the company. Sales managers! what are your biggest pet peeves? I'll go 1st. When you hire a sales rep who promises he'll make a ton of sales. Only to be the lowest result sales person on the team. Bothers the hell out of me. I would rather a rep tell me out righ: "I'm not the best at sales but I want to learn." Compare to: "I'll be the best sales person your company has ever seen." Bugs are high in protein, and they can be dried and ground down into powder for protein shakes. Some of them are flavored like chocolate, so you don't even know that it's made from insects!
