Are you running a community marketing strategy? As platform algorithms change, it's imperative you own your audience - not rent it from LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. After having Derek E. Weeks on the GTM Secrets podcast, GTM Secrets is now going to be launching the GTM Secrets Community (coming January). Not many know community building for B2B marketing more than Derek. His new book, on Amazon, is called Unfair Mindshare. It's an apt title for what you're doing when you build a community for your SaaS or B2B org. Check out the full episode, ignore the tech glitch :) and see how you can apply communities to your company! Link in the comments. #gtm #community #b2bmarketing

🎙️Love this latest episode of the “11 Minutes with Octane11” mini-podcast where TJ P. and I sat down with Brandon Rhoten (GroundTruth, The Wendy's Company, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Merkle) to talk shop about B2B marketing. Brandon drops some knowledge on breakthrough creative, some favorite B2B marketing strategies from Spotify and Pinterest, a few of his favorite tools like HubSpot and Octane11 :) and his framework for getting to the root cause of an issue, before jumping into tactics. 💪 (btw, asking our guests to share a favorite business framework is a new feature of the mini-pod…and this week I shared the 1-3-1 framework that was recently highlighted by Jason Shuman at Primary Venture Partners 🙌) I was particularly excited about this session because I’ve had a chance to see all the great work that Brandon and his team and their CEO Rosie O'Meara have been doing at GroundTruth… …and also because I always love talking about Potbelly, which I had the opportunity to get to know back when they had just a handful of locations in Chicago, when I was on the investment team at Maveron 😋 Check out a clip from our conversation with Brandon in Octane11’s post below. Should all SaaS CEOs be… 6-year-olds? That's the question I asked Alina Vandenberghe at the start of the latest episode of B2B Better. As a trailblazer in B2B SaaS, Alina doesn’t just run a company—she is reinventing how to think about growth, culture, and real-time marketing results. Case in point? Back at INBOUND last month, the Chili Piper team had a real-time ROI calculator on its booth displaying how much pipeline was being generated to offset the cost of the event. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. After seeing this, I had to get Alina on to the show to talk everything from: → Building and scaling impactful marketing strategies (no fluff!) → Understanding customer needs that truly move the needle → Aligning sales, marketing, and customer success for maximum impact → Why happy employees = stronger brand authenticity To top it off, I asked my friend Victoria from Sopro to come on and wax lyrical on bridging the gap between sales and marketing for seamless success. Whether you’re leading a B2B brand or just curious about how the pros push boundaries, this is an episode you won’t want to miss. Check it out on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts. -- Also - thanks to my friends over at Sopro for sponsoring this episode. Want to receive double the amount of credits for your first outreach campaign? Check out the offer link in the episode's Show Notes.

Should Reditus be fully built in public? Our goal is to be at $1M ARR by December 2025. At the moment, we share some updates, but we have a lot more to share about our journey. I'm curious to hear if you would people be interested in hearing more about the good and, maybe more important, the ugly. We already share a lof of this type of content with the Grow Your B2B SaaS Podcast, but it is not about our own journey. If we would do this, what & how do you want to hear this? Short LinkedIn posts, videos, email newsletter, or other? Really curious 👇 One question for myself: what would be the most significant downsides if we start doing this? #buildinpublic #b2bsaas #sharingiscaring?

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes down to our YouTube channel. There are so many things which can be improved, should be better, etc. Do I care? Not that much 😅 > Yet. For now Youtube has been a nice addition to our distribution of the Grow Your B2B SaaS Podcast, and seeing the traction we are getting without spending much time on it is excellent. To give some examples: We haven't optimized our thumbnails We haven't SEO-optimised the videos We haven't really tried out shorts We publish the full podcast episodes and clips on it, that is it. It is good to see we are on our way to 500 subscribers, which is super low, but with low effort it is not that bad (in my opinion). Once we have more time / resources it will become a bigger priority. The lesson here is to experiment using different channels, gather data, build an audience, and, once you have more resources, grow them faster. We do this for; - Linkedin company pages + newsletters - LinkedIn personal profile - Youtube account - TikTok account (yes we started one) - Blog content on our site - Outbound efforts (starting soon) - Paid ads (starting soon) Looking at the above it is going to be a busy summer 😅☀️ #b2bsaas #youtube #havefun -- 🔔 Building a YouTube channel is like SaaS development: sometimes you ship it and then fix it 🚢
