AI is moving to greater heights

This video illustrates how we are (mostly) using GenAI: Recreating the ordinary at lower cost. Boring. And then there's a panda playing a guitar! Ah. At last. Something we couldn't do before that we can now because of the capabilities of GenAI. People, we need more pandas playing guitars.

Mindblowing. AI expands our boundaries of imagination, yet also makes many wary of the blurring lines with reality. As with any technology, risks can be minimised, as long as you use it responsibly and in line with your core values. #artificialintelligence #ai #creativity #reality

I have to finish Endrit's first sentence, "Everything in this video is 100% AI-Generated" with a question: from what? Thanks to the speed of AI's developments, where we're headed with gen-AI is easy to imagine. What isn't easy to predict though is how the fuel of AI, original, human-made content, is going to affect AI, and how AI will affect original content. The ideal is IP-owner sourced, credited, and compensated libraries for LLM's to learn and generate from. How far we are from that ideal is how far we'll be from a sustainable creator economy. #mrkd

Create Your Creation at What Human Value Does it Add Otherthan to Perception

Whatever the debates around the morality of such technology and threats to creativity, this is amazing. And in reality this becomes another tool to bring creativity to a wider user base. In the past people may have had brilliant ideas without the artistic ability to realise them. This could be seen as levelling the playing field for all creative thinkers regardless of their artistic ability, although I do understand the concerns of those with inherent artistic ability. I think we are approaching a period of immense change and people will need to evolve both their thinking and workflows to take advantage of it.

You probably know about Gen AI videos from SORA if you are part of my bubble, BUT this isn't sure SORA, it is from a different player in the field. The video isn't great, but it gives me goosebumps to imagine what's possible through text to video prompting soon. Even more important to establish robust AI content review processes in your organisation sooner than later. #aivideo #aicontent #texttovideo #aireview

with KLING like tools, the need for identifying natural vs AI generated videos will be a clear need.

I have always struggled a bit with reality. It comes from studying Physics and Philosophy, where it's not at all clear what reality is. The question that's interesting me at the moment is: what are our obligations surrounding realities and AI? As individuals, #GenAI gives us increasing opportunities to live in fantasy worlds. Here's one from last weekend: AI to assist with bereavement. Yes, it could easily be exploited by the unscrupulous AND it could be deeply comforting AND nobody is obliged to live their lives in what others regard as real reality (whatever that may be). This raises some very interesting questions about advertisers' obligations around communicating what's real and what's not. Strangely, nobody has been obliged to disclose the use of #Adobe Photoshop or CGI in the preceding decades. However, the #advertising industry is obliged to declare when AI tools are involved. “my Administration will help develop effective labeling and content provenance mechanisms, so that Americans are able to determine when content is generated using AI and when it is not.” - Presidential Executive Order. What's becoming clear is that there is going to be a battle over advertisers and bot-owners' obligations to disclose how the realities and fictions they generate are produced.
