Over the next five years, all newly manufactured passenger vehicles in the US will be mandated to include automatic emergency braking, a safety feature expected to save hundreds of lives annually. This announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration signifies the most substantial safety regulation in the last twenty years.
