As a UK drone operator relying on DJI technology, I am concerned about the potential for the UK to follow the US in banning both DJI products and TikTok. These actions would infringe on our rights to free speech and expression, as both platforms are essential for creativity and communication. Additionally, such bans could violate due process and disrupt commerce. It's crucial that we protect our constitutional rights and resist these unjust measures in the UK. Additionally, it should be noted that the banning of TikTok in the United States raises several constitutional concerns, particularly related to the First Amendment and the Fifth Amendment. https://lnkd.in/e7Htit2z #DroneOperator #TechFreedom #FreeSpeech #DueProcess #CommerceClause #DJI #TikTok #UKTech #DigitalRights

As India's OTT market skyrockets, we are compelled to ask: Who controls what we watch? The TDSAT (Telecommunications Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal) ruling that OTT platforms fall under IT rules, not telecom regulations, has intensified the debate on creative freedom versus responsible content. Platforms like Hotstar and Netflix are constantly evolving, making consistent regulation challenging. While IT Rules 2021 offer some guidelines, concerns about harmful content, especially for children, persist. Self-regulation by OTT platforms has been criticized for inconsistency and lack of centralized oversight. Enter CHOICE, an AI-powered content filtering tool that empowers viewers to customize their viewing experience. By allowing users to block objectionable content categories (violence, strong language, etc.), CHOICE enhances viewer autonomy without external regulation. Explore CHOICE to see how it can transform your OTT experience! #innovation #AI #OTT #Marketing #future

👀Looking at this incredible list of early stage CTV Adtech companies, we get quite excited 🤩. It confirms the importance, and timeliness of the shift in attention that we’re seeing. As a reminder, CTV is not an ‘additional’ medium that needs consideration, it’s a shift. A shift in consumer attention, and a shift in advertiser spend. At Streamly, our goal is simply to work with companies who are looking to make the most of this opportunity by having us handle all the operations of setting up their monetisation stack, to ensure it’s done properly, effectively by experienced professionals. 🚀🚀 We’re with you throughout the journey! 🤝 📢🇦🇪To any of our peers on this list, we’re always keen to connect if you’re ever in Dubai - make sure to send us a note! (Thanks for the shoutout Shez Iqbal and Paul Gubbins 🙏🏼) #CTV #DigitalVideo #Video #AdOps #TechOps #VideoMonetisation #monetization #connectedTV #CTVMENA #OTT #FAST #Adtech

Detector Vans for Olympics Streaming? Really? You read that right. With the 2024 Olympics wrapping up in just a few days, you might have noticed some peculiar vans in your neighborhood. According to SPORTbible, if you’re planning on streaming the games without a TV license, you might find a van parked outside your house, ready to slap you with a fine up to £1,520. The TV license company, backed by the BBC, claims to have a database of approximately 31 million addresses to check whether you have a TV license. Their officers can access this database, and they even have a fleet of detector vans to track down unlicensed viewers within minutes. ➡️ While this sounds like something out of a spy movie, we at Redflag AI can't help but wonder: is this really the best way to combat illegal streaming? 💡Here’s a thought: instead of deploying vans, how about leveraging the power of AI? At Redflag AI, our advanced technology can: 1. Detect illegal streams in real-time without the need for a road trip. 2. Protect broadcasters' content seamlessly. 3. Ensure your favorite sports are enjoyed legally, without any van-related drama. Isn't it time we moved past the 1980s and embraced modern solutions? Let's chat about how AI can make content protection smarter and more efficient.
