3 things nearly ALL sales candidates want when searching for a new role 👇 𝟭. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹🤑 Sales people aren't in it for a laugh. They want to earn money. Make sure your commission structure is strong. 𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻📈 The best sales people want to know that there is a clear career path for them, and that they'll be supported from a training and development point of view. 𝟯. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 💻 Sales people need to be passionate about a product or see huge value in it. Without this, it's very easy to become demotivated or uninterested. There are many more than this, but these are the 3 that come up in conversations the most. Do you sound the same as everyone else when you apply for a sales role? Do you want to work in sales because you… - Want progression? - Want to earn money? - Work well to targets? - Enjoy speaking to people? Then yeah. You’re saying the same things as everyone else. But it’s the reasons behind these statements that can make you stand out. Think about what these mean to you and why they’re important. Be candid. Be honest. Someone told me this week that they wanted to be happy. Then they explained what that meant to them and why a sales career matched that. Really good. They stood out from the other 100+ applicants. #saleshiringtips #yoursaleswhy #salescareer PS. it was linked to being able to earn enough to support their family and why a sales career can create this

Lots of people “fall” into a sales role. It’s how I ended up in sales. And we think that is a shame. Because starting in an entry level sales role and moving through to setting up and running business units, and now a whole business, sales has pretty much taught me everything. You can build your: - confidence - self awareness - communication - earning potential And once you can drive revenue yourself or drive performance in revenue producing team, you’ll have some VERY valuable skills And those skills can open a lot of doors I don’t see another career that can teach you so much, pay you so well and create so many opportunities #salescareer #saleshiring #salesdevelopment

Is IT a Less Stressful Career Choice than Sales for Salespeople? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gxNrwg62 #CareerTransition #ITvsSales #StressLevels Hey everyone! 😊 I’ve been in sales for a while, and honestly, I’m done with the stress that comes with it—waiting for the next big deal to close can be so nerve-wracking! So, I've been thinking about making a switch. 🤔 This got me wondering: Is a career in IT really less stressful than working in Sales? Here are a few things I've considered: Sales Pressure: In sales, you're constantly chasing numbers and quotas, which can feel like a never-ending race. 🏃♂️💨 IT Environment: From what I’ve gathered, a career in IT often involves more structured hours and project-based tasks. This might help in spreading the stress out. 🖥️ Job Stability: IT roles often provide more stability and job security, especially with the increasing demand for tech professionals. 📈 Client Interaction: Sales usually involves a lot of interaction with clients, which can be emotionally exhausting. IT roles may have less client-facing responsibilities. 🤝❌ But I'm curious to hear from those who've made the leap: Did you initially work ...
