There's a lot of talk about who will the EPP make coalitions with in the next EP. Our data reveals that, in general, EPP votes alongside the S&D (65%) more than with ECR (50%). However, there are specifics policy topics where EPP allied more with ECR than S&D. Among these: #pesticides , #NewGenomicTechniques, decarbonization of road transport, forest management, intellectual property rights #IPR in health, #nuclear energy and #ECB’s monetary policy. 😎🤩👏🏽 Great turnout of over 600 (including >100 students) for East Tennessee Economic Council (ETEC)’s Nuclear Opportunities Workshop this week! While I’m looking forward to speaking tomorrow about Westinghouse Electric Company’s AP300 SMR, I’m most excited to listen to the session on “Non-linear approaches to workforce challenges” with speakers from Boys & Girls Club of TN Valley, Oak Ridge High School, ORAU STEM Accelerator, Roane State Community College, Tennessee Technological University, and Tennessee Valley Authority. Workforce development is, and will continue to be, essential to deploying and operating the 100s of GWs of clean, reliable #NuclearPower that the 🌎 needs, and the #nuclear industry must embrace non-linear approaches to filling our #workforce needs.
