🎥 Check Out My Latest Project: News App! I’m excited to share a video demo of my latest project, a feature-rich News App that I’ve been working on. This app showcases the integration of several modern Android development tools and best practices: Jetpack Compose: Leveraging the power of Jetpack Compose for building a modern, responsive UI. Hilt: Using Hilt for dependency injection, making the codebase cleaner and more modular. Room: Implemented Room for efficient local data storage. Navigation Graph: Streamlined navigation across screens using Navigation Graph. Coroutines: Utilizing Coroutines for smooth asynchronous operations. MVI Architecture: Applied the Model-View-Intent (MVI) architecture to enhance state management and separation of concerns. Here are some of its key features: Directory and File Listing: Provides organized lists of directories/folders and individual audios and videos. Multi-Screen Navigation: Utilizes multiple screens for a seamless user experience. Configuration Change Handling: Survives configuration changes and continues playing from where it left off. State Persistence: Soon integrating preference datastore to store the previous media state and resume playback seamlessly. Modern Technologies: Built with Jetpack Compose, Dagger Hilt, Coil, the latest type-safe Navigation library, Media3, ExoPlayer, and runtime permission handling. I'm kinda digging shadcn/ui. I'm building out a demo app on jeffreybarron.dev, needed a good data table, and decided to give it a try. So far, I like it. Why? • The embed model makes it super easy to customize things • Lightweight when adding new components to a project • It's built on top of other solid packages like radix-ui There's a few things I'm not too keen on though. Like how deep the component hierarchy is for simple things...I'm looking at you Form components. But that just could be a nuance I'm not quite familiar with yet. When combined with Tailwind it's a really solid launching pad to get small things off the ground quickly.

All you need to do is markup an image in the App (shapes, freestyle, even balloons) to create an image, like in the video. Get creative with it; the Clarinspect team will pick out the top ones. And hey, you might just score yourself a Clarinspect box of chocolates! Clarinspect, obviously, is not a drawing app, but this goes to show the versatility of the software. (Helpful hints; the order of annotations goes freestyle at the bottom, then shapes, then balloons.
