Feedback is important! How we deliver feedback is really important! Constructive feedback can help people to learn, develop and grow, creating workplaces that thrive! Criticism can damage confidence and create an unsafe workplace environment often leading to conflict. 📜 Fascinating study on the effects of different attempts to influence human behaviour. This article is from Dr Philippa Hardman's newsletter (highly recommend) where she analyses it and draws some relevant conclusions for L&D. 🎯 Some of the characteristics of successful interventions include a focus on user/employee context and the importance of designing long-term solutions (rather than single events/modules etc.).
