Participants will learn how timber framing can be adapted to meet the unique needs of residential projects, from small scale residential to expansive homes.
The commercial segment will focus on the scalability and sustainability of timber framing in larger projects. Participants will explore how timber framing can be utilized in commercial buildings, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, environmental impact, and long-term performance.
A key feature of the course is the detailed case study of the Woolverton Inn project, as a real-world example that illustrates the practical applications, challenges, and benefits of timber framing in a hospitality setting.
