We believe that every childhood should be full of joy and adventure, but sadly not all children can access this. We support London's most vulnerable young people by offering them a safe space to play, rebuild their confidence and their emotional health and just be children. Support our festive appeal and help raise vital funds to support vulnerable children to participate in our Thrive Outside project in 2025. Click the link to donate today: https://lnkd.in/ek4Yt3_H

October 6, 2024 is the NYC Chapter Out of Darkness Walk. It will start the NYC Seaport Pier 16 & 17 in the Seaport District. The event opens at 10AM. The walk starts at 11:30AM Many many of you helped last year with donations to my fund raising. I'm asking again if you can help prevent a suicide and support research into suicide. Please donate what you can. Did you know? The construction industry has one of the highest suicide rates among professions — with the rate among male construction workers 75% higher than men in the general population. 6,000 construction workers died by suicide in 2022 and increase from 2021. Story Circles at Schools: Imagine parents coming together, not just to talk, but to truly listen and connect. Through personal stories, laughter, and heartfelt moments, we create a safe space for parents to share their lives and learn from one another. It's more than storytelling—it's building a community where every voice matters, and every experience teaches us something new. Together, we’re bridging gaps, breaking barriers, and strengthening relationships one story at a time. Because when parents grow, children thrive. Please support us with an open heart: https://r.give.do/9IsaTupV
Listen to the Future: Every child has the right to speak up, be heard, and be taken seriously. At Dawn Child Foundation, we believe that children hold the key to a better tomorrow. By creating spaces where they feel safe and supported, we encourage them to share their dreams and ideas for a future full of safety, care, and happiness. Let’s ask the children in our lives: What kind of world do you want to see? And more importantly, let’s act on it. Your support can help us continue this mission. Today is world suicide prevention day. There is an estimated 700,000 suicides per year worldwide. The impact the loss of one life has is profound, the impact of 700,000 is incomprehensible. We can make an impact #StartTheConversation #StopSuicide
Please consider donating to support the AFSP in raising awareness around suicide to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. If you're local to the capital region, join us in walking on 9/22 at Saratoga State Park!
Please support the Capital Region Walk for R.I.T.A. this fall to help #stopsuicide

One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference. Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. Our Managing Director Phil Allison is helping to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, he'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness. To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, your donation can really help. Will you help Phil reach his target? Donating can make a huge difference to people who need it most. https://buff.ly/3TJ8AVV #CEOSleepout

🌟 A Powerful Reminder from Leon Guy 🌟 “I think sometimes people hesitate to help because they feel like their contribution won’t be enough. But the truth is, every small step matters. Every dollar, every item, every gesture adds up.” – Leon Guy, Facility Manager at Crossroads When you take that first step to help, no matter how small it seems, it makes a difference. 💖 🔹 Leon shared a story: someone came in and wanted to donate $10, unsure of how much it could really help. But that $10—added to others—becomes part of something much bigger. It could feed families, provide dignity to someone in need, or simply offer a moment of relief. “It's not about the size of the donation, it's about taking action. Every bit helps. And together, we create change.” At Crossroads, we see the direct impact of these small steps every day. The challenge may feel overwhelming, but every act of kindness makes a real difference. 🔹 Join us in taking that step. Whether it's a $10 donation or a few hours of your time, you can help create change. Together, we can make sure no one has to go without. https://lnkd.in/e5qDSd3S 👉 Donate today and be part of the solution. Every contribution counts. #CrossroadsCommunity #SmallActsBigImpact #GiveHope #EndingHunger #SupportOurMission #ChangingLives #FoodSecurity #DonateNow

I often feel sad about this situation. As a caregiver for child victims or witnesses, I really feel what these children feel. It's really not easy for child to face this situation. Physic & psychologic conditions are greatly affected and fluctuate along with the people around them who give various reactions: Encouraging/giving encouragement, or there are also people who bring them down. Indonesia has its own legal regulations for children in conflict with the law. Regulation No. 11/2012 about Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak (SPPA). However, it must be admitted that the implementation process is still complicated and requires time, learning, energy and sufficient finances. But situations like the film above continue to happen. The choice is, which side are we on, giving encouragement and it's side or bringing child down..?. We have to firm in child side as a victim or a witness for sure!
