🎥 Think making videos is easy? Think again! 🎬 Behind every polished video you scroll past is HOURS of work. 👀💻 ✅ Planning the concept & script. ✅ Nailing the shots (hello, 5+ takes for "the one"). ✅ Editing out the awkward moments (we ALL have them). ✅ Tweaking for different platforms (because one size does not fit all). This grind can be mentally exhausting, especially for creators wearing all the hats. 🧢 Burnout is real when you're constantly juggling creativity, deadlines, and technical challenges. 😮💨💡 Video content creation isn’t just about hitting "record." It’s a full-on production that takes time, energy, and skill. So next time you think, “I can DIY this,” remember: professionals make it look easy because they’ve mastered the craft. 🎥✨ 💡 Ready to avoid burnout and level up your video game? Let the pros handle it—so you can focus on YOUR expertise! 💪 #videocreationtips #contentcreationjourney #avoidburnout #videomarketingstrategy #hirethepros

🎬 Great videos aren’t just about what you see, they’re about what you feel. Here’s a secret trick that takes your videos to the next level! The most impactful videos aren’t just seen; they’re felt. When your audience experiences an emotional connection, your video doesn’t just grab attention—it leaves a lasting impression. In our editing process, we aim to go beyond aesthetics and storytelling to create content that not only looks good but makes an impact. While we use tools like motion graphics, storytelling, and branding alignment, there’s one trick that truly elevates engagement: emotion. 💡 Emotion is the key to impactful videos. If your video doesn’t resonate emotionally, it’s unlikely to hold your audience’s attention or get the retention it deserves. But how do you weave emotion into your edits? Here are some tried-and-true techniques: ✨ Color Grading Colors evoke feelings instantly. Warm tones can spark nostalgia or joy, cool tones bring calmness or sadness, and darker hues add mystery and suspense. The right palette can shift the mood of your story entirely. 🔊 Sound Effects Subtle or dramatic, sound effects amplify moments. A gentle breeze, footsteps on gravel, or a sudden impact—each sound adds life and depth, pulling viewers into your story. 🎬 B-roll B-roll isn’t just filler; it’s the emotional backbone. It builds context, enhances storytelling, and helps your audience feel more immersed in your narrative. Whether it’s a candid moment or a scenic landscape, every clip matters. 🎶 Background Music Music is the soul of any video. The right track can uplift, inspire, or even move people to tears. Match your music to your message to enhance its emotional pull. These simple techniques, when used thoughtfully, can transform a good video into one that truly resonates. Remember: it’s not just about what your audience sees—it’s about what they feel. How do you bring emotions into your videos? Let’s share ideas and learn from each other! It’s been 7 years since I started my journey as a video creator now. And let me tell you there were bumps along in my journey, I met wins and failures when I was honing my craft. I always wanted to know from an experienced creative what mistakes they did in their past so I don't end up doing it, I can definitely bet there will be more like me! If you’re in my place, you should avoid these newbie mistakes. The 5 biggest mistakes I’ve made since I started video editing: → Depending on others to learn video creation instead of figuring it out myself. → Cha-ching chasing for my time and efforts instead of craft perfecting. → Go straight to editing videos instead of visualizing them in mind or having a lineup set. → Stick to a know-it-all attitude, but there’s always room to learn. → Blaming the game and not taking lessons from mistakes. But the moment I realized my mistakes, I accepted them. And you should, too. I improved and implemented my learnings to win high-ticket clients. So keep making mistakes, but learn from them! PS: What mistakes did you make in your initial years? Share your mistakes in the comments! #videoediting #learnandgrow #creativity #editorslife

Every step in the creative journey teaches something new! 🎥 Recently, I had the opportunity to create a motivational video for a client. Although I felt it wasn’t my best work, their positive feedback truly inspired me. This experience reminded me that progress is more important than perfection. As creatives, we often judge ourselves harshly, but what matters most is delivering value and connecting with the audience. My client loved the message and impact of the video, which was a proud moment for me. I am committed to learning, improving, and delivering even better results in the future. Challenges like these push us to grow and refine our skills. To all fellow creators out there—don’t let self-doubt hold you back. Keep creating, keep sharing, and trust the process! A big thank you to my client for their trust and encouragement. This is just the beginning of a journey toward greater creativity and impact. 💪✨" #MotivationalContent #VideoEditing #ClientWork #CreativeJourney #FreelancingLife #ContentCreation #PositiveVibes #Inspiration #HardWorkPaysOff #CreativeMindset #SuccessStory #FreelanceEditor #EditingSkills #PassionProject #GrowthMindset #DreamBig #ContentMarketing #ClientFeedback #KeepCreating #TrustTheProcess

Have you ever spontaneously started something that became a thing? Well, one of my colleagues came to me and said she wanted me to help her to make a video, to help her promote her project to the rest of the team. And so I worked with her that day, helping her to speak into the camera, and I took the footage and turned it into short, engaging videos. When she shared it with the rest of the team, I started getting more people coming back to me saying, could you do one for me? And it became a thing. And I knew that this was something that I wanted to do and pursued it further on LinkedIn Because I realized I enjoy helping other people to shine on video And although it's taken me some time to get on video myself. At the same time, I understand what it is that people go through Because I put myself through this. And so I'm able to relate to my clients. and help them to pull out what it is that they need to get on camera. My process is simple. There's no scripting, and there's no performance involved. I help you speak about what your audiences would most likely like to hear from you. Then, you speak that back to me. I chop the footage up and turn it into short, engaging videos. Then, you have 15 videos for an hour session. Have you ever spontaneously started something that became a thing? —————— #videotips #meaningfulconversations #authenticself 🎬 Hi, I'm Ercan. I help LinkedIn professionals simplify their video creation and shoot 15 videos in 1 hour without being overwhelmed by too much preparation, endless takes, or editing.

Are your videos captivating or confusing? One simple factor can make or break your message: 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Think about it: Poorly edited videos leave viewers lost and disinterested. → Unclear transitions. → Distracting cuts. → Your message gets lost in the noise. But well-edited videos? They keep viewers engaged from start to finish. → Smooth flow from one idea to the next. → Crisp, clean cuts. → Your message hits home every time. This isn’t just about technical skills. It’s about telling a story that resonates. Great editing can transform a simple video into a powerful sales tool, guiding your audience to take action. Don’t let sloppy editing turn your video into “background noise.” Instead: Focus on crafting a seamless narrative that pulls viewers in and keeps them hooked. Your video is your brand. Make sure it always leaves a lasting impression. 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁? Let’s work together to make your message unforgettable. 5 Reasons Why Short Videos Fail (Here’s what you can avoid to make your videos work) 1. Weak Opening ❌ Weak openings lead to quick scrolls. ✔ Solution: Start with a hook that grabs attention. → Your audience decides in just 3 seconds whether to stay or scroll. 2. Overcomplicating the Message ❌ Complex messages lose viewers. ✔ Solution: Keep it simple. → Focus on one key message per video. 3. Bad Visuals ❌ Poor visuals ruin good content. ✔ Solution: Invest in basic lighting and editing. → High-quality visuals make your videos stand out. 4. Lack of Storytelling ❌ No story means less engagement. ✔ Solution: Add a simple story to make your content relatable. → Use curiosity loops to keep your audience engaged. 5. No Call to Action (CTA) ❌ No direction means missed opportunities. ✔ Solution: End with a clear, specific CTA. → Not telling your viewers what to do next = lost opportunities. 🥸 What makes a video entertaining? More to the point, what makes for an entertaining speaker? You don't need razzle-dazzle to draw attention to your videos. Sure, striking visuals, animations, sound effects, B-roll inserts and the like add interest. So does anything that's funny, unexpected, or flat-out unusual. 😖 BUT ... if your content doesn't measure up to the hype or give the viewers what they expect to find, none of that matters. Content remains king and it has to be relevant, relatable, and well-presented or people will move on from the noise. 🗣️ What about the speaker? It's all in their comfort level, with themselves, their audience, and the material, and a willingness to have fun with the material. Relevant, insightful stories are almost always entertaining, as are fun facts and questions posed (and answered) for the audience. Entertaining videos are often faster-paced, but it's the personable, human element that shines through the most. ➡️ Here's my take on bringing an entertaining speaking style to your videos, but they're just as applicable to giving presentations or addressing other people, both in person and on camera. What about you? We all have our own ways to bring out the smile factor in others. What's your favorite? ------------- 👋 I’m Laura. 🎬🎤 I can help you with your video or voiceover project ... and help you shine on camera yourself.
