𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭? After practicing Waterfall methodology for a decade I now see that the following are the Pros & Cons of both 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥: 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒔: Suited for well-defined projects with clear requirements upfront. Works well with regulations and strict compliance needs. 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔: Less flexible, changes can be costly and time-consuming later in the project limited client involvement during the process. 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞: 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒔: Highly adaptable to changes and evolving needs. Encourages collaboration and faster feedback loops with clients. Break down large projects into manageable phases for better control. 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔: May not be ideal for projects with very rigid requirements or extensive regulations. Requires a cultural shift towards open communication and collaboration. So instead of clients asking for adjustments after the project handover, we should make sure that their involvement stays from initiation till the closure phase of the project #constructionprojectmanagement #constructionmanagement #constructionindustry #projectmanager #construction #engineering #building #architecture #infrastructure #agileconstruction #constructionagile #leanconstruction #constructioninnovation #projectdelivery #agile
