5 reasons why hiring an Interim IT Executive will help you get the results you need in 2024.. As I mentioned in my last couple of posts, hiring takes a lot of time!! And time is a very precious commodity for everybody in this busy world so interim hiring could be a solution to consider. 1. Interim hiring is a faster process, because you know the specifics of the role you need to fill which is your primary focus whereas when recruiting for a permanent member of staff you have a lot more criteria to focus on. (One further upside is that the Interim Executive might be the talent you want on a permanent basis). 2. Interim IT hires will have the skill set you are looking for and are available in a shorter period as it’s their preferred mode of working – no long notice periods! 3. Interim hiring is less political internally – the person hired is there to either move an IT project along, help in a crisis (system rollout not progressing to the expected time plans) or fill a talent gap whilst the existing executive is on long term leave (for personal reasons) also less likelihood of the existing team feeling threatened. 4. Perhaps you know the time is now to undergo a digital transformation in your company, an Interim IT Manager with digital and data experience will bring their expertise to your digital plans. Someone who understands how to integrate AI and Automation into your workplace may certainly be an advantage right now. 5. An Interim IT Executive hired with the right experience and skills will save you money, they are there appointed by you, to get a specific transformation/project/restructuring over the line and you know the cost up front.
