Valkyrie Stretcher - weight testing Today, the team has been testing the Valkyrie Pole, a key part of the Valkyrie Extraction System. Functionally, we know the stretcher works. The next and more difficult challenge? Design a pole that extends from approximately 0.60m (currently 0.58m) to an impressive 2.8m, capable of holding a max load of 150kg. In the video, you can see this morning's tests in action! The pole fully extended and held 100kg, with Ryan driving the forklift to add some downward inertia and even bouncing it afterward for good measure. Next up, we’ll be loading it to 150kg and pushing it to failure – we’re currently on the hunt for some weights to get this done! 🇬🇧⚕️ #Engineering #ValkyrieSystem #TestingInAction #Innovation

CLAAS brings chopping to a new level   With a range of innovative technologies, #CLAAS puts the #JAGUAR to a new level of forage harvesting, raising the bar even higher in terms of #chopping quality, #efficiency, #reliability and #comfort. JAGUAR customers can now take advantage of new options such as the V-FLEX chopping cylinder and CSPS (Corn Silage Processing Score) analysis via #CLAASconnect, as well as various improvements to the crop flow and drive provided as standard.   The completely redesigned V-FLEX cylinder marks a new milestone in chopping cylinder technology, offering unrivalled versatility when it comes to knife configuration. Together with the new V-FLEX knives, it sets new standards for smooth running and knife service life.
