people don’t fall in love with technology. they fall in love with how it makes them feel it’s funny, isn’t it? we marvel at cutting-edge tools, but we only truly remember the ones that connect with us emotionally think about it, why do people still talk about the iPod launch from years ago? It wasn’t the tech specs, it was 1,000 songs in your pocket. no matter how advanced the technology, its success hinges on these three things: 1. clarity: simplicity over jargon, make it effortless to understand 2. relevance: it needs to solve a human problem, not just show off innovation 3. emotion: does it spark joy, trust, or even curiosity? in the race to innovate, it’s easy to forget this: technology serves people, not the other way around so, here’s a thought Is the tech you’re building speaking to your audience’s heart, or just their head? #saasai #technology

Amidst the Gen AI frenzy, let me highlight a seemingly less glamorous but essential issue: the tendency to prioritize shiny new features at the expense of addressing Tech Debt. Over time, this can lead to a growing backlog that impacts product stability, scalability, and delivery speed. Tackling Tech Debt is not just about maintenance; it’s a strategic necessity. Integrating it into the overall product strategy and roadmap can ensure a better balance between innovation, security, and sustainability. Moreover, addressing it effectively can improve team well-being, productivity, and morale. #TechDebt #ProductManagement #Sustainability"

Platform Thinking: The role of vision In the past, we discussed the difficulty in predicting the future and the folly of "just-in-case" development. However, we should not discount the need for vision -- the sense for where we need to go in the future. Not necessarily specifics, but a gut-feel for where things are heading. Clearly seeing problems that could be solved., To understand the changes that are happening in our respective industries. To realize the potential of new technologies that most don't understand. This vision does not translate to "just-in-case" feature development, but rather building a platform that prepares you to meet the future. Where you can quickly build the features your customers need as you learn the specifics. Where iterations cost very little. Where new features and technologies can be integrated, validated, and deployed -- confidently. #platformthinking

You Don’t Build Great Products By: - Copying Apple or OpenAI. They have different resources and context. - Chasing flashy tools while ignoring actual user problems. - Adding features because competitors do, not because users need them. - Overlooking broken team dynamics and hoping tools will fix them. You Build Great Products By: - Understanding what users do, not just what they say. - Fixing team collaboration for seamless execution. - Focusing on fewer, high-impact features. - Driving decisions with a clear, adaptable strategy. Borrowed playbooks and shiny frameworks feel productive but won’t deliver. True progress lies in nailing users, teams, and focus.

𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆-𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 🤑 𝗠𝗟 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹: Don’t. Here’s what to do instead: 1. Find an existing related ML solution. 2. Analyze what works and what doesn’t. 3. Optimize and tailor it to fit your problem. 4. Integrate and deploy that in your product. Don't waste time starting completely from scratch. Build something faster and more specialized. Get results quicker. Profit.
