Vancouver, B.C., Feb. 26, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rugby Resources Ltd. (“Rugby” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: RUG) is pleased to report that recent surface sampling at Cobrasco has yielded significant copper/molybdenum assay results. In addition, a new molybdenum stockworked porphyry occurrence has been identified approximately 1 kilometre (“km”) northeast of the Cobrasco Central drilling area. Reconnaissance mapping indicates the new molybdenum porphyry may represent a continuation of the primary mineralization intersected in drill holes approximately 1 km to the southwest (see Figure 1). https://lnkd.in/g9Pct_2f

The Haynesville Shale is an informal, popular name for a Jurassic Period rock formation that underlies large parts of southwestern Arkansas, northwest Louisiana, and East Texas. It lies at depths of 10,500 to 13,000 feet below the land’s surface. The Haynesville is an Upper Jurassic-age shale bounded by sandstone (Cotton Valley Group) above and limestone (Smackover Formation) below. The Haynesville Shale covers an area of approximately 9000 square miles with an average thickness of 200–300 feet.
