In 2023, 67% of total charitable #giving in America came from individuals, for a total of $557.16 billion. As magnificent as that sounds, and it is, as recently as 2013 that figure was as high as 73%. Contributing to your #community by giving a charitable gift is #democracy in action. You get to support the community cause, issue, or concern that you value. You directly support the work you think will make your community better. You are investing whatever amount is meaningful for you - no matter the size - to create true community, and to play a part in it. The average citizen makes two charitable donations per year, and the majority prefer to make their gift online via credit card. Does this sound like you?
