Everyone has heard of postpartum depression, but an often overlooked problem that many parents face following the birth of a child is postpartum (or perinatal) anxiety. In fact, the development of an anxiety disorder at any point throughout the pregnancy and postpartum journey is common. Symptoms can range from constant worry to panic attacks to obsessive thoughts about the safety of your baby.
