#Thoughtfulness In this photo, I have two gifts that have become indispensable to me. The first is my favorite water bottle, a thoughtful gift from CMA CGM during Customer Service Week hosted by Jean-Baptiste Longin ☺️ The second is a pair of earphones I received from my Secret Santa last Christmas . I didn’t realize how much I needed them until I started using them. Now, I can’t imagine leaving the house without them—they make my life so much easier! These gifts remind me of the importance of thoughtfulness. Simple gestures like gifting, words of encouragement, or offering hope might seem small, but they can have a lasting impact on someone’s life. It’s not just about the object or the words themselves, but the consideration behind them. When someone takes the time to think about what might bring you joy or make your day a little easier, it shows how much they care. Let’s take a moment to appreciate the thoughtfulness in our lives. It’s these small, considerate acts that often make the biggest difference. 🌟 #Thoughtfulness

Great event and interesting discussions during the MSI Nordic Baltic meeting. Some conclusions regarding the ESG strategy for SME's are: - ESG factors are important for long-term success. - Companies with high ESG scores may have lower costs of capital. - Investors, customers and talents are attracted to companies with strong ESG performance. - Addressing ESG issues can help companies manage risks and identify growth opportunities. - Compliance with ESG regulations, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, is crucial.
Always nice catching up with our fellow member firms! Yesterday in Copenhagen we met during the Nordic Baltic Meeting discussing various topics in order to be relevant service providers and supporting eachother in doing that MSI Global Alliance: Lawyers & Accountants

Here's a thing. We're all busy. We never get to the end of our to- do list. We complain about people hijacking our calendar and having meeting after meeting with no respite. And yet. Are we secretly terrified of NOT being seen as busy? It's often such a badge of honour in our working culture, and the default response to 'how are you?' is 'oh, really busy.' This crops up so often when we're promoted to a new role and we're finding our way around it. Especially when we've previously had a technical role with very clear outputs. Colleagues, peers, managers can see what we've been doing. But when some of our role moves to managerial responsibilities, that clarity evaporates. Will they be judging us? Wondering what we're actually doing with our time? Can we clearly identfy the impact we're making? And feel comfortable talking about it with confidence? If you'd like to talk about how you articulate the impact you're making - to yourself and others, then why not set up a call. The link is in my profile.

We started Queritius four years ago. Contrary to appearance, we have not slid in on a shrimp sandwich. In fact, we have failed quite often. We did not make it to Chambers & Partners, in the first year. Nor in the second. We did not manage to secure third party funding for a large case we really counted on. We lost two major cases which we candidly believe should have been decided in favor of our clients. We parted ways with a few great colleagues and excellent lawyers. We made some embarrassing mistakes. To give one example, when stepping down from a case in a somewhat tense circumstances, I personally sent our farewell e-mail addressed to “Dear Members of the Arbitral Tribunal, Dead Colleagues…”, without noting the typo 🤦♂️ But failures are a part and parcel of any human endeavor. As a great movie quote puts it, “it is not about how hard you can hit, it is about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That is how winning is done”. And so, we keep moving forward. Enriched with experience, improved from our mistakes, resilient, and still passionate about what we do.
